When Pakistan scored 200+ runs by losing only 5 wickets, I thought maybe Pakistan can win today's match. But Pakistan's innings came to an abrupt end after the dismissal of Mohammad Rizwan. The interesting thing is that the last 4 batsmen of the squad could not collect any runs on the scoreboard.

It was more likely that Pakistan would not win the match. However, due to the responsible batting of the middle order players, Pakistan had a chance to win the match. But due to the stupid batting of the lower order batsmen, Pakistan lost.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill were not playing well as they both played in the World Cup, I think the biggest reason is that their performance was best in the World Cup because this World Cup was hosted by them and ICC prefers BCCI then other boards, and in the semi-final of the recent World Cup between India vs New Zealand, the match was decided to play in the 7th pitch but BCCI changed the match to pitch 6 without taking the permission of ICC.

It has to be called a humiliating defeat for India against South Africa. The margin of runs was not too much and I thought that India would be defeated but I did not think that India would be defeated by the innings margin. When the Indian batsmen were batting in the second innings it seemed that the wicket was very difficult for the Indian batsmen and batting there was even more difficult. 

India is a professional team in all forms of cricket so they should have played professional cricket against South Africa which they could not play. If they could have played professional cricket against South Africa then maybe they would not have lost by an innings against South Africa.

LOL... both India and Pakistan lost their boxing day test match this year. In case of Pakistan, at least they can say that they lost against a tough opponent. And the margin of loss was decent (Pakistan lost their match by 79 runs, while India suffered an innings defeat against a weak South Africa). And in both cases, it was the pacers who set up wins for the victorious team. For South Africa, it was Nandre Burger, Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen. Australia won their match thanks to Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins.
