Pakistan tactics flopped in this match. Who will chose to field first on a minefield such as Mirpur? Bangladesh were asked to bat first and they managed to put up a massive 300 plus target. But Mirpur becomes Mirpur after the third day. Pakistani batsmen really struggled against Nahid Rana, Taskin Ahmed and Taijul Islam in their second innings. Apart from Abdullah Fazal, no other batsmen managed to score above 30. The next match will be played at Sylhet, and I hope that Pakistan will aim to win that match by improving their tactics and team selection.

The only surprise was that it was the pacers who took all the wickets. Also, we need to consider the fact that only Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood were there as the experienced batsmen. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman were not included in the playing XI. Pakistan disappointed performance continue in test cricket because in first time Pakistan lost three test matches against Bangladesh. After loosing this first match Pakistan is at seventh position on point table of world test championship while Bangladesh is at number sixth position on point table. Pakistan middle order flopped in second inning of test match no one score cross 30 runs and lost the match very badly by 104 runs. Pakistan batters didn't survive in last 2 session of the fifth day. Nahid Rana bowl a classical spell in second inning picking five important wickets and assisted Bangladesh to win first test match and lead the series with 1-0. Shan masood giving disappointed performance so far as a text Captain and I think Pakistan cricket borad needs to change it immediately.

Yes exectly, but Bangladesh completly turned it by its incredible performance winning by 104 runs against Pakistan. Pakistan's batting in the second inning was so disappointing apart from abdullah. Bangladesh performed so well throughout the match especially Najmul hussain shanto. our batsmans did not perform well nor our bowler but bowler of Bangladesh deserve huge praise for maintaining pressure and implementing their plans brilliantly in the second inning. if they carry the same momentum into the second test, they will have a great chance continuing their strong run.

Honestly i didn't expect Bangladesh to perform this well. Due to their such outcome, the first test against Pak, is becoming an unexpected and exciting contest. solid top order contributions came from Mominul and musfiq. Besides shanto played a calm and responsible innings, his century gave Bangladesh a strong foundation. Pakistan also gave some positive signs despite the pressure. Young batter Azan showed good temperament & patience, successfully stabilize the innings by his century under difficult conditions. Along With Abdullah Fazal, they built a steady partnership & able to reduced early pressure on the side. Overall pak scored a decent runs in comparison of Bd. But the scenario changed soon and the Bangladesh bowlers were able to dismiss the remaining batsmen of Pakistan very quickly. Nahid Rana's role was the most important behind Pakistan being all out within these short runs in the second innings. None of the players in the Pakistan team in the second inning played well, all the players collapsed badly except Fazal, who secured 60 and 66 runs in both matches. They chased a target in the first inning and were very close, but the target was huge. In the second inning, the target set by the Bangladesh team was only 240. In the second innings, Pakistan totally made a disaster. By the way, these kinds of test matches are so interesting when the teams are neck to neck, for example, today Pakistan had to make about 250 runs, which was possible, but the start was not good by the openers, and later on, the middle order played totally badly. They were all out making 163 runs and lost by a big margin. Now wait till the next game, and I think maybe Bangladesh might win this match once again.

Both of these teams are too unpredictable. Both teams can change the game result within a session. It was looking good for Pakistan when the target was around 260+, and they had 50+ overs to bat, which they did. But they lost quick wickets and were not able to score. Congrats, team Bangladesh.

In this match, both the teams played their respective innings and the result is in front of us. I have not seen a good effort anywhere except Pakistan first innings. If their bowler bowled well and hard in the second innings, their batsmen should have taken advantage of it, but their batsmen showed carelessness due to which they were defeated. There are 2 matches in this Test series and even if Pakistan Victory the second match, that joy will not be able to increase their strength much, but it will restore their sunken pride which is not included in them. Their team has played with so much carelessness when they could have been very strong and easily successful. In the second innings, I did not feel that anyone except Fazal batting proved that they are playing for the success of the team.

Abdullah Fazal was standing alone and scored 66 runs, but Imam Ul Haq and Azan Awais lost wickets early, that's why he was struggling to carry the momentum. On the other hand, Nahid Rana, with an extreme kind of pace and wonderful swing, knows how to trick batsmen, got five wickets and helped the team Bangladesh. By the way, Bangladesh really found an extraordinary bowler, one and only Nahid Rana.

While the Pakistani team is playing cricket in any format, you never need to be surprised by their performance because now it's their trademark, they are always bringing themselves into situations like this and have a hobby of losing matches without giving any serious trouble to their opponents.
