This is last match before Asia Cup and now every team is looking for the better performance in this big event and Pakistan is already done good job in this series even their batting is not as par their requirement which can create problems for them against the teams like Sri Lanka and India because these two have few good experienced and quality players which will give them tough time but right now they are doing good job in today match we have same situation like we have in first match their batting was badly struggling, but some good support from the lower order helps them for having better runs on the board.

Afghanistan is again and again struggling in batting as they have no depth in their batting with top order fail to give them consistent performance which is important for the International games, hopefully they will do something better in Asia Cup even now time is short, and they have no enough sources as well.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman's batting impressed me today. Mujeeb is basically a bowler. Still, the way he batted today is truly amazing. Afghanistan's top order was a complete failure today. Mujib scored 64 runs off just 37 balls today. First 4 batsmen of Afghanistan top order combined collection is 54. In such important matches and on bowling friendly pitches, a win is not possible if the top order does not perform well. However, I thought Afghanistan would lose all wickets before 150. However, the team managed to collect up to 209 runs due to the excellent batting of Shahidullah and Mujjeb. Afghanistan lost all three matches in the series. I don't think this team has any chance of doing well in the next Asia Cup.

Afghanistan were under a lot of pressure from the start due to the high fall of wickets. Although I bet for Afghanistan but I am little, but this poor performance of Afghanistan will remind me later. Pakistan's batting and bowling have done very well since the beginning, which has been proved in these three matches. As said the inconsistency is found high with Afghanistan team than Pakistan team. This makes gamblers to go with the odds on Pakistan than Afghanistan. Another reason Afghanistan is not that good in chasing, they're good in defending.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman at the tail end gave an awesome contribution and at some point my mind started to think of Mujeeb Ur Rahman to score a century. His bad luck, lost his wicket on hit wicket. Rashid Khan's performance is another reason, but he is good at T20 than ODI.

Their overall batting is weak but in this series their bowling was a big let down and if we rule out the spin trio then the bowling department looks toothless, especially the death bowling.

In this series, they had a fair amount of chances to seal the match with the ball but they choked at the back end of the inning.

Finally, we saw that Pakistan completed the victory by 59 runs, and Pakistan won the series by three matches. It's nice to see that Pakistan was able to whitewash the Afghans in the ODI series. Considering how well Afghanistan batted in the 2nd game, I thought Afghanistan could chase the run. I did not watch the match, but I saw the scorecard. I don't know how the pitch was, but it wasn't a close game at all. The margin is big enough. I assume the Afghans never were able to create hope to win the match.

It seems it's the only series between these teams. The Asia Cup is ahead, and there are only three days to go, I guess this is the reason why they did not arrange any T20I matches—the first match of the Asia Cup on 30th August, Pakistan vs. Nepal. I am excited.

India is at the third place, but there is quite some gap between them and Australia. It seems to me that Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran, Gulbadin and Naib Mohammad Nabi, who have the provability, did not play in the match. Their batting disaster was the major hindrance to their victory in the last match.

They will be seen in the field against the Bangladesh team in the 4th match of the Asia Cup on September 3. It will also be difficult for them to win against the Bangladesh team. I won't agree that Pakistan would have a clear chance to win the Asia Cup because they still have to beat India and If India and Pakistan reach the final, this would mean that they have to beat India three times in a row in order to lift the Asia cup. I don't think that the Pakistan team is that much consistent in beating India.

Another important thing is that the Afghanistan team lacked good bowling, still, Pakistan batsmen struggled in all three matches. If they were playing against a strong bowling attack of India, getting easy wins would not be possible.

Wow congratulations team Pakistan and Babar Azam really deserving team for the number 1 spot in the ICC ODI Ranking. Pakistan after whitewashing Afghanistan in 3 match Series is on top of ICC Point Table.
