Australia won by a huge margin of 110 runs.

In this match between Australia U19 team and England U19 team, England U19 team batted very badly.I thought this match might be full of excitement but this match turned out to be quite plain. Australia U19 batted first and amassed a huge score of 266 runs.England Under 19 team came out to bat with a target of 267 runs and the game was temporarily stopped due to rain. The second innings was reduced to 24 overs as play was stopped due to rain and England failed to reach the target of 215 runs. In this match, England Under 19 team was only 104 all out as a result of which Australia Under 19 team won by 110 runs.

Australia U19 set a target of 267 runs to England U19. For the Australia team, Hugh Weibgen scored 120 runs from 126 balls, Harry Dixon scored 53 runs from 63 balls. I thought Nepal would be able to deliver more than 200 targets today. But after batting 49.5 overs, the Nepalese players collected only 169 runs. It was not enough collection to win this pitch. Bishal Bikram top scored for Nepal, he scored 48 runs, but Bishal scored 48 runs from 100 balls. Their batting was very slow.

Bangladeshi bowlers Borshon and Jibon bowled very well today. Borshon scored 19 runs in 8.5 overs and took 4 wickets. On the other hand, JIbon took 3 wickets with 34 runs in 10 overs. Opener Jishan Alam also played an excellent innings of 55 off 43 balls and Ariful Islam 59 off 38 balls. Well bro you were right Bangladeshi team has done so phenomenal performance in recent past which give them extra confidence while facing any normal opponent. Nepal are currently new cricket adopting country so it will take time to build a well balanced team hunt talent and much more things to tackle a full member team of ICC team as a associate member of icc. The bowling of Afghanistan bowlers was very controlled today. So Team USA can't give big target today. But I am very disappointed with the performance of Afghanistan batsmen. Both the openers failed to get any runs on the scoreboard today. Although Naseer Khan managed to collect 39 runs, his strike rate was not decent. Naseer Khan batted at only 36 strike rate. If the performances of the squad players are so weak and erratic, Afghanistan U19 cannot win any match against the big teams.

USA suffered a heavy defeat against Ireland, while Afghanistan lost a close match against Nepal in the group phase. I am not surprised with the performance from USA, but was disappointed with Afghanistan. Normally Asian teams are quite good in age-group cricket, but Afghanistan in this tournament has been an exception. Even Nepal performed decently so far.

I think the teams that participate in the World Cup are not weak because they play competitive matches with different teams before coming to the World Cup and then qualify for the World Cup.
