Surprise to see Multan stadium is empty for limited overs cricket. I was expecting a packed house in the opening match and Pakistan is hosting only 4 games.

I get it, Nepal is a weaker opponent but Multan has one of the cricket hungry crowds in the subcontinent. Hope stands to get filled as the match progresses. At least there is some support for Nepal.

The way Nepal started the game, they did not look like a weaker side. Pakistan were 25 for 2 wickets down and Nepal had the upper hand in the match. If Pakistan had faced any other opponent but would have been in deep trouble by now but since Nepal is the weakest team in this Asia Cup, Pakistan recovered well and now are 82 for 2.

Yeah, maybe the crowd wanted to see the India / Pakistan games in their country and as a result, they are disappointed to know only four matches are being hosted by them.

Nepal could have been in a better position but they dropped 2 sitters and one of them was Babar. Having said that they also managed to get 2 excellent run outs, which was nice.

Rizwan's brain fade moment was funny lol and the dude is turning this into a habit. This is his second brain fade moment in the last 2 matches.

Waoo what a drama and excitement in last over especially after 40th over when baber and iftimania took a charge and brutally punished the entire bowling Lineup, it's really proud moments for iftikhar (chahu) to score his first ever century for Pakistan in ODI format at number 5, also baber become the first ever player to score the fastest 19th century in ODI format and become second player to score 19th century for Pakistan in ODI format too, so it's a great milestone for baber and for Pakistan too, after staring few early dismissal I taught Pakistan will scored around 200+ but after baber settle down and some significant partnership I start to believe that baber will be done something special and he did it..
Hope it's will be an easy victory for Pakistan because thier bowling Lineup has ability to defend such a huge target.

Now it's a big challenge for Nepali batters to chase this runs. I don't think they will be able to chase it. They already lost three wickets scoring 23 runs from five overs. All they should try to play all the overs and see where they end up.

You have to agree Pakistan bowling line-up is one of the best bowling attacks in the world today. So I don't think Nepal's inexperienced batsmen will be able to score 150 runs against such experienced bowlers. However i can see Nepal is batting very well now, Nepal lost three wickets for just 14 runs, and at the end of 14 overs, Nepal collected 73 runs. Another thing is that Aarif Sheikh and Sompal are batting very well now, probably Nepal will be able to collect around 200 runs. However I expected to see a completely one-sided match, and so it is. Both batsmen and bowlers of Pakistan are playing very well.

Who is this Sompal Kami?

IMO he looked quite good for his 28 runs, played a couple of fine shots, and looked flawless to me. Does this guy have any franchise experience?

While chasing down Nepal has current score is 84 runs in a loss of 5 wickets in just 18 Overs. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rouf both picked up 2, 2 wickets and Naseem Shah picked up 1 wicket. Pakistan will easily win this match by huge runs.
