IMO he looked quite good for his 28 runs, played a couple of fine shots, and looked flawless to me. Does this guy have any franchise experience?

Other than Sandeep Lamichhane, I don't think that anyone in the Nepal team has experience with top-tier franchise T20 leagues. Sompal represented the Winnipeg Hawks for a few matches during Global T20 in Canada. But he has been a regular fixture of the Nepal team for the last 5-6 years. Opens the bowling and bats down the order. I am still not sure whether they will get to 150. After 20 overs, they are at 88/5. A second spell for either Shaheen Shah Afridi or Haris Rauf should wrap up the Nepal innings without much effort.

I am just going to be honest and not going to sugarcoat things at all. Nepal did not perform well. They had to show a better performance in the second innings to at least stay in the match. You cannot expect a team to win when eight players fail to score even 10+ runs. But to be honest, this type of result was almost expected by everyone. I don’t think anyone was actually thinking that Nepal was going to win the opening match of the Asia cup against Pakistan when Pakistan is playing in their home ground. Pakistan definitely got a big win in this match. But the main forecast for Pakistan is definitely going to be the next match where they will play against India. And we all know that match is going to be the biggest match of this tournament (if they don’t face each other again)

Well, Pakistan started this match nervously but they ended up with a very strong win by a big margin. Baber Azam 151 runs was a mature innings while Iftikhar Ahmed runs showed the Pakistan's batting depth. Pakistan is the no.1 ranked team in ODIs, according to the ICC ranking. So it was not surprising. But the performance from Nepal was quite disappointing. They had a good start, and at one point they had Pakistan struggling at 25/2. And when Agha Salman got out, they were 124/4 after 27.5 overs. At this point, it looked as if Nepal maybe able to restrict Pakistan to a total of around 250 to 300. Sri Lanka is the opponent of Bangladesh in the only match today, like yesterday there was a fight between a tough opponent and an easy opponent today but the fight is exceptional because today the fight will be equal tiger and lion will fight today. As you said many players in Bangladesh are injured right now like Tamim Iqbal as well as Ebadat Hossain and Liton Kumar Das got injured just before the start of the Asia Cup although Liton Kumar Das is unable to play in the Asia Cup due to fever and instead got a place in the team Anamul Haque. Liton Das is a classical batsman of Bangladesh so his absence may cause some problems in Bangladesh's batting lineup.
