It's an easy win for sirilankan team although Bangladesh bowler done a good job the the target were not enough to defend for thier bowler, Bangladesh can scored more than a current target but unfortunately no one stick long on a ground and due to insufficient partnership they unable to scored a big target like 250 around which could be a defendable target at sirilankan condition.
But anyway still Bangladesh has opportunity to comback stronger as they will face India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nepal. So they have alot opportunity but if they know how to utilize it properly by shuffling some player which really boost them against thier upcoming opponents.

When you score only 164 runs in a one-day international match, it is very hard for the bowlers to defend this small score in 50 overs. The same happened with Bangladesh bowlers today.  They managed to take two quick wickets at the start of the Srilankan innings but as the target was very low, the SriLankan team never came into any sort of pressure.

It is a difficult task to defend a target like 164 runs even when you have the best bowling lineup but what was surprising was that the the bookies were still giving Sri Lanka decent odds, which confused me while placing a bet when they lost two wickets in quick succession, sometimes you get lucky getting good odds and Sri Lanka are cruising towards victory as they need just 44 runs from 22 overs.

I didn't saw the odds at that time of the match but what odds were given by the bookies? If the odds were good, i hope you would have taken the odds in the favor of Srilanka and won some decent amounts

The biggest problem for Bangladesh is they do not have other players ready to replace a player in the team if someone is not performing well. If those players somehow do not perform Bangladesh cannot win. If I talk about the current situation, Right now Bangladesh does not even have reliable players to be honest. Shakib Al Hasan was not able to perform well in the first innings. And there was absolutely nobody to actually steady the ship for Bangladesh.

I will also say that it was a bad decision taken by Bangladesh to bat first. Because the track actually got better over time. But still, there is no excuse for how bad the performance was from Bangladesh.

The fact is that the Bangladeshi bowlers did not bowl worse than the Sri Lankan bowlers but the run target for Bangladesh was very insignificant which was not possible for the Bangladeshi bowlers to control at all.

If the batting of Bangladesh could have given a run target above 250 then it would have been possible for the Bangladeshi bowlers to control it. However, it has become difficult to confirm Bangladesh's knockout stage.
Sri Lanka must beat Afghanistan and Bangladesh must draw with Afghanistan. This equation will become much tougher for Bangladesh as currently Bangladesh is in worse form than Afghanistan.

Bangladesh Vs Srilanka 2nd Match of Asia Cup
The 2nd match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh of the Asia Cup has Started. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first the opener of Bangladeshi Tanzid Hasan out for a duck.

It's really bad performance from Bangladesh although they have won they and have a decent opportunity to scored a significant target at early stage, but unfortunately they hasn't done thier job properly. Just like journalist predict they will face huge trouble on sirilankan pitches as most of them are bowling friendly, but after injury new of few of thier quality spinner like hasaranga I taught Bangladesh will done some good target. But any way now it's up to Bangladesh bowling if they took important wicket before they build and big partnership then I am quite sure they will get into the game.

Bangladesh's top order batsmen failed miserably in today's match if only one player Nazmul Hasan Shanto didn't  score 89 runs Bangladesh score would have been under hundred. But one thing I always say is that those who are in charge of management of Bangladesh Cricket Board are corrupt. There are some wrong decisions of the management which the Bangladesh cricketers got proof of that wrong decision for today's match.

Sirlinka won this match by 5 wickets and chase down the 165 runs target in 39 overs.  While chasing down the target after 2 early wickets fall of Srilanka then Sadeera Samarawickrama played a good inning of 54 runs in 77 balls and along with Charith Asalanka also played a very sensible inning scoring half century of 62 runs unbeaten in 92 balls and helped his team to this victory. Matheesha Pathirana is the player of the match for his amazing performance picking important 4 wickets by Just giving 32 runs in 7.4 Overs. I think Bangladesh batsman just short 70 runs if the target is 220 plus then the match will be more interesting

I believe Sri Lanka was the favorite host in this match, but we expected some between those teams. It's a failure of top-order batters. Bangladesh team's Nazmul Hasan Shanto is the only good batting performance. But he was not helped by enough reverse batting. I mean since Nazmul Hasan Shanta almost every batsman was out so his pair was needed at least. Mushfiqur Rahim could not provide any support on behalf of the Bangladesh team but left the field after collecting only a few runs. The Sri Lankan team is very good in this regard. The two batsmen Asalanka and Sadeera took the Sri Lankan team to the top of the victory as their pair entered the field for a long time and scored huge runs. If such a pair would have survived for Bangladesh with Nazmul Islam Shant, then Bangladesh would have been the target of a big run.

Right brother if Bangladesh had succeeded in scoring 200 runs or more then there was much chance to win this match easily because if we see the SL score dashboard then they scored 165 runs in 39 overs and 11 overs were left then there was a tough match both of them. I believe that this match would be an interesting than the previous one Pak vs. NE. Now I am waiting for the next match between Pakistan and India. Both teams are good and strong. It is difficult to predict which one win the third match of the Asia Cup. I always supported Pakistan and still believe that PAK will win the match.

Lol. 200 runs wouldn't be enough since Sri Lanka looked like they could still chase it down easily. 250 would have been a competitive target making the match far more interesting in my opinion.
