Yeah and IMO Naseem was a bit unlucky, he bowled brilliantly and should have gotten at least 1 wicket.

Babar could have gone for a kill with 3 seamers, maybe a couple more overs of pace but right now spinners giving the necessary breather to Kishan and Pandaya. They don't seem to pose any threat to both of these batters.

I was going through social media posts and everyone is of the opinion that India vs Pakistan clashes are getting overhyped. We will have 2-3 matches between these two teams in the Asia Cup, and probably one in the Asian Games cricket championship. And then we will have 1-2 more matches during the ODI World Cup. This time I can feel it. Hardly anyone among my friends are talking about the match and the interest seems to be down. BTW, India might be having the momentum with them, having won 4 out of the last 5 matches between these two sides (ODIs).

Yeah, not much hype nowadays and only broadcasters trying to engage with fans. Maybe because it's an Asia Cup and lots of other interesting stuff also going on simultaneously.

But i am sure we'll witness genuine interest and hype during the 50 overs WC. For now, enjoy the rain interruption.

In order to create the hype, both nation's people needs to be involved in the match and both need to be emotional for their teams to win. Yes, the Indian nation may be fully involved in the match as before but you cannot say the same for the Pakistan nation at the moment. The corrupt government and the political regime change have buried the emotion of our patriotism.

You know in all the previous years I have been so excited about the India Pakistan matches and how much it means a win for Pakistan to me but right now the feeling is that if Pakistan wins the match it's good and if India wins this match it's even more good.

What an exciting match that was India had a rough start at 66/4 but they produced an incredible recovery to show their tenacity. Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya outstanding fifty-plus scores were the driving force behind India successful turnaround from 66/4 to 266 all out.  Shaheen Afridi stunning performance, in which she took 4 wickets for just 35 runs gave the match a competitive edge. Both teams undoubtedly have their strong points but the match is kept interesting by Pakistan batting power especially with players like Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed. 3rd match of the Asia Cup had already lived. Both teams are strong and have equal potential to win this match. India team won the toss and close to bat first. Batting of Team India was already over and India scored 266 runs in 48.5 overs. Few balls were left but unfortunately all teams were out. When Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were out I guess that it was too difficult for India to give 250 runs but they scored 266 runs. When India scored Almost 90 runs the Indian team lost 4 wickets and the batsmen were Kishan and Panday their partnership was quite good. I. Kishan scored 82 runs in 81 balls and H. Panday scored 87 runs in 90 balls. So let's see Pakistan batting performance hope they didn't disappoint the fans

Initially when India lost 4 wickets very quickly it seemed that the Indian batsmen might not be able to score much runs against Pakistan in the end but then Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya put together a great partnership. When these two batsmen put together a big partnership, it looked like India might go past 330 plus Rayhan but then Shaheen Afridi's brilliant bowling helped Pakistan limit India to 266 runs. In the press conference, Rohit Sharma praised the three bowlers of Pakistan who took ten wickets of India, that is, the rest of the bowlers did not see any wickets. They were over 200 runs from 38 overs with five or six wickets in hand. I thought India would score more than three hundred runs because they had enough wickets in hand. That's what usually we see from Indian batters. But the credit goes to Pakistani bowling line up. They did an incredible job to restrict India under 270 runs. All ten wickets taken by pacers! That's a good sign.

Bowlers did their job and the rest job is for Pakistani Batters! Babar Azam already in good form and I hope we will see a good innings from him. I hope rain won't reduce the match overs as it will spoil the game.

Losing the first 4 wickets in a hurry should have been a worry among the Indian fans, but from that situation captain Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan changed the picture of the entire match. Although India could not make 300, they dealt well with the Pakistani spinners. A better performance of some other players in the team would have given an early idea about the situation of this match. But in the current position, it cannot be said which team will be ahead. After watching Pakistan's 15 over batting performance, it may be possible to predict the result of the match.

Spin didn't work. India also have two spin option kuldeep Yadav and Jadeja. Due to rain interruption match had got suspended. Pressure situation had been handled well by the left hand right hand combination building good partnership of 138 runs when India was on the critical situation.

As said fall of two more early wickets could've made India end the innings less than 200 runs. If Pakistan openers give a good start, Pakistan could chase the target. There is chance of reduction in overs and runs and the ground inspection have begun.

The rain was stopped but now it has started to drizzle again. Pakistan will have to chase way less. I was reading on ESPN commentary where they mentioned the below expected targets.

The target will be 254 in 45 overs, 239 if 40 overs, 203 in 30 overs and 155 in 20 overs.

If this match is reduced to 20 overs and becomes a T20 chase for Pakistan, this may again help them.

India managed to score 266 runs in the end so now Pakistan need 267 runs in 50 overs to win the match.  Meanwhile, rain has started on the field due to which Pakistan batting is delayed a bit. But today's match is very exciting but the rain has stopped the excitement a bit.  But how long this rain will last remains to be seen. The match is slowly getting boring now due to this rain. A target of 266 runs is not a bad score.  If India can bowl well, Pakistan will not be able to cross this target

No I don't think it's a poor captaincy because there is no other option for him to use because they can maximum use any fast bowler for just 10 overs and if they use most of fast bowler at early stage then probility of smashing spinners in last overs will be very hight as because opponent batter will didn't feel frightened or under pressure to take a charge against them to boost this total score, but one things is that spinner would me more worthy if rain didn't interrupt at the early stage of the game. But anyway after leaking too much runs in mid overs they control the situation in last by breaking the worthy partnership and then Quickly took some important wickets which really turn the match.
