The Nepal vs India match is currently suspended due to wet outfield. However, in today's match, Nepal could not give a very good batting performance for India. Nepal lost 6 wickets with 178 runs in 37.5 overs, they could not score much more runs per over. It is sure that Nepal will never win against India by this short run, because India is strong enough but Nepal is not that strong team, just a normal team. Both bowling and batting are excellent in Indian team and they are sure to perform well in the match. We saw Nepal's first match they lost badly against Pakistan so if they lose today's match they will definitely be out of Asia Cup and they will have to go out.

UAE should be not in the discussion of hosting at this time of the year. There is a thing called Mid-day break over there due to the hot temperature so ACC rightly said no.

The BCCI wanted to move matches out of Pakistan, but then they should have also kept weather conditions in mind.

@JSRAW, do you have any plan to create a prediction pool for the upcoming ODI world cup? There wasn't too many participants in the last T20 world cup prediction pool, but it was enjoyable.

It's been quite sometime since we had a proper cricket prediction pool tournament in this forum. ODI World Cup happens every 4 years which is why this is a great question in my opinion.

@Royse777 and @JSRAW together used to manage those pools really well before based on what I remember.

It was indeed fun but tbh engagement is too low bhai, hence i stopped.

Having said that if there are 15+ participants interested in it then we can surely have a WC pool.

The Asia Cup 2023 match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan was certainly a game-changer because to their outstanding performance of Miraz and Shanto who played outstanding batting for them, helped them to a respectable total of 334 runs. Taskin Ahmed consistently outstanding bowling, which resulted in four wickets, confirms his position as Bangladesh top fast bowler. In my opinion Taskin and Shorful has become a strong bowler as a result of his perseverance and hard effort, whilst Mustafiz has lagged behind as a result of lacking a similar level of devotion. Bangladesh ability to compete at the highest level on the world stage was demonstrated by their victory by 89 runs which not only highlights their talent but also keeps their aspirations alive to win AsiaCup 2023.

I didn't think that Bangladesh will perform so well. But after watching Bangladesh team's first match I was upset with Bangladesh team because Bangladesh team had bad performance in batting and bowling line for which I was worried in Bangladesh vs Afghanistan match. But on the day Bangladesh team batsmen bat first.  Bangladesh team won on that day by giving a target of more runs. Afghanistan could not do well in bowling and batting in the match. I thought Afghanistan team could perform well but they could not do that.

We don’t have any doubt that Bangladesh is a good team when it is ODI format .I think it wasn't good mind set to go through cause they were missing their top opening batsman Tamim amd Litton so ot became so tough for the new comers to set the tune for next batsmen and thats how the batting unit were collapsed .However it is also true that Afghanistan is also strong twam in Asia they have great bowling option like Rashid and Mujib .They didn’t perform well cause the pitch was totally flat and helpful for batters to bat on and Bangladesh took the chance and made an healthy innings and it is beame so tough to chase for Afghanistan though it was a batting pitch .Chasing a high total always a pressure for a team and also Bangladesh has a strong bowling unit .So finally Bangladesh won the match and almost qualified for the next round .

No doubt Currently Pakistani bowling Lineup is dominating Current Day cricket so it's not surprising that how they manage to collect entire Nepal team wicket on just a total of 105. While compared to indian bowling they are little bit off colour, that's why opponent team score a big bunch of target. I am quite sure that indian strong batting line-up will chased it down without any trouble even they scored 300, but due to rain interference current target for India team to chase goes down to 145 which runied entire match joy disappointedly. But anyway it's nature call so we can't do anything but hopes ACC will faces bad consequences of thier decisions as they can change venue if they know about bad weather.

It was a sure match that India would beat Nepal and win the match very easily. The target of 230 runs was not challenging for India.  Nepal is still very weak in cricket.  In between they have a game against India which is almost impossible for them to beat India and win the match. Had India continued to play, they would have had to play as many as 35 overs to cross the target, where Nepal collected 230 runs in 48+ overs. Nepal had a worse match with Pakistan and eventually Nepal was eliminated from the Asia Cup by losing today match against india
