After completing the t-20 series. The first match of the ODI series between South Africa and Australia has started today. Australia is fielding after winning the toss and deciding to field first. Bowlers of Australia team have picked up 5 wickets of South Africa so far. South Africa is a disaster in terms of wickets. I thought as a South African fan even if they don't do well in T20, maybe they can do well in ODI matches. But looking at the prestige of the game, it seems that the South African players could not change the style of the game. So far in the first innings game, South Africa have amassed 130 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 31.4 overs. Due to the strong bowling of the Australian team, there is a lot of fear among the South African batsmen

Absolutely loved it. In the first ODI match, Bavuma was the standout for South Africa. His performance was nothing short of fabulous. It felt like a one-man show against Australia, and Bavuma's innings today held great significance in setting a competitive total.

The series is important for Australia. Australia will play a series against India after this series before the World Cup. As Australia aim to become world champions, they need to continue their good performance in the ODI format from now on. Players have to come up with consistency of performance. Otherwise, it will not be easy to maintain consistency in every match of the World Cup. I think Australia will start the series with a win against South Africa today.

You were expecting 250 score, I had assumed they  would not even make 200 score.But T .Bavanm played a long inning and scored 114 runs.If he had not continued his innings  south Africa would have struggled to reach 200 runas well.

Wao what a drama is going on, I can't believe that it's Australian real team, I taught south Africa were playing with a junior street boys. I am really shocked how south Africa comeback stronger like this after a brutal bad defeat from them in T20 series. Now Australia lose most of his important batter wickets before done something significant during such a crucial situation where team really need them.
Any way Australian side lose 7th wicket while the only hope from them just Marnus Labuschagne who can be the game changer and can turn the entire match but currently the important things that they should follow is to just stick on the ground and don't lose wickets because they have tons of over left but to score just 130, which can be done if they hold thier nerves make a significant partnership.

The South African bowlers were deadly from the start of the second innings. The batsmen of the Australian team could not stand in front of the South African bowlers. It seemed that the entire game was taken over by South Africa. But later Australian team batsmen Labuschagne and Aston Agar came and turned the tide of the game a bit. Labuschagne Ashton Agar is batting responsibly and Australia are slowly building their way to victory. Australia need only 15 more runs to win in 13 overs. Australia lost 7 wickets and collected 208 runs. Labuschagne remained unbeaten with 76 runs and Ashton Agar with 35 runs. Australia will be able to build such a wonderful partnership in the eighth wicket pair that the South African players probably never imagined.
