Somewhat agree. But the question is how convincing the win was. Who was the performer? Did they expect 44 runs from Nasum Ahmed? Did they expect 14 runs from a debutant pace bowler? Did they expect 29 runs from Seikh Mahadi? Of course not. The last game they won against India was pure luck. I don't want to give credit to those so-called top orders.

Liton has recovered from injury, and he is out of form at this moment. The credit goes to the Indian big fishes as well, who did not play the match against Bangladesh. This was the Indian Bench team against Bangladesh.

To be honest, you never know if Bangladeshi openers would play well or not. Tamim Iqbal returned from Injury and he may some time to get into form. Liton Das is out of form as well. Soumya Sarkar was included in the squad but I am not sure in which position he will play. He might open the innings or he might play at number three position. Whatever position he plays, we expect some good performance from them. We don't want to see another disaster in the World Cup. Shakib Al Hasan had a dream to win the World Cup. But we expect them to play at least semi-finals for now. If they can go further, that will be dream come true.

Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first. I actually do not like this decision from them too much. Because India is definitely a good team while chasing. They have a reputation for chasing down big targets. But I guess Sri Lanka is trying to play to their own strength and also trying to take advantage of what the pitch has to offer. Outside the performance of India against Bangladesh in the last match was not very good. I don’t think Sri Lanka is going to win. The match is about to start. Let’s see what happens.

They lost 6 batsmen to collect 12 runs. I never thought Sri Lanka were a team worthy of the final though. They were very lucky so they won against Pakistan and managed to qualify for the final. However, I don't see any possibility that Sri Lanka will win this match. Surely they will be defeated and defeated very badly. The final match was expected to be very competitive. The best partnership ever after the fall of H Klaasen's wicket on 103 runs. David Miller, who performed well in the last match, is back at the crease and that certainly bodes well for South Africa. On the other hand, Aiden Markram is doing his best with 82 runs. Both put on a brilliant partnership of 99 runs to take the score to 202 runs with 60 balls to go. South Africa can certainly build a strong position if David Miller is able to perform as he has done in the past. However, if the score is pushed closer to 300, it could be a great contest as South Africa's bowling attack is also very good.
