If Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummings were dropped, Australia fielded only 6 professional batsmen against the Netherlands. I'm thinking they may have fielded 6 professional batsmen against the Netherlands, but will they do the same against other teams?
Like you, I am a bit surprised to see such poor batting from Australia. But we have to praise the Dutch bowlers for bowling well. Even before watching the match against Australia, I had no idea that the Netherlands bowlers could bowl so well. Let the Netherlands survive in cricket and may they become a strong team because European teams will really enhance the beauty of cricket.

Australia scoring just 166 runs and losing 7 wickets is the reason why majority say that the performance from Australia team is not satisfactory. Maybe this is true on different stats, according to me they've done well according to the situation. If it is a T20 match, then we could say they're not doing well. Here it is an ODI and the overs have been reduced due to rain interruption. The calculations were completely different, even in this situation they had scored at a runrate around 7.2 per over. This is good enough for a team. I don't say Netherlands is bad, they have improved much and I expect consistency with them in their upcoming matches. Only then the real ability could be understood. Anyhow the rain is going to be a big problem throughout the ODI World Cup.

Rain has been significantly affecting the cricket matches for the past month or two, and this time, it's the World Cup. Hopefully, there will be no rain in today's warmup games, and we will see some action.

Yes there are two matches but the match between new Zealand and Africa is stop due to rain. The condition of march is such that New Zealand has 171 runs and a single player is out.

Devon Conway and Kane Walliamson has left batting and during batting Devon scored 78 and Williamson gain 37 runs. If rain does not stop then this match have no results at all.

But if we see such big scores in the World Cup too, the matches will become very exciting.

New Zealand's innings stopped at 321 runs against South Africa. If New Zealand could have continued the way they started in the end, the score would have crossed 350 plus, but they were not very aggressive towards the end against the South African bowlers. I wouldn't say the South African bowlers bowled very well today, they picked up a wicket early in the game but then they didn't pick up wickets for a long time, due to overheating two players got off the field with good runs for the team. 

South Africa took a total of six wickets against New Zealand and managed to pick up five of them in the last over which led to New Zealand's first innings total of 321 otherwise the first innings total could have been bigger.

The complete squad is being used and the other reason for every matches to be high scoring is the pressure free performance. As these are warm-up matches, the win/loss doesn't affect the teams moving to the next levels. One of the match played today between England and Bangladesh have been suspended due to rain. We don't know whether this will continue or not. Yeh it's true Bangladesh match is almost washed by rain because during first innings of Bangladesh batting rain interrupt and still ongoing, if match doesn't start within few hours then it will be another abondund match right before world cup. I think such rain interruption again and again really damage entire competition.
Anyway let's have a look on score card of NewZeland match against South Africa where NewZeland opener scored a decent runs byself and set a stage from upcoming rest of batters and thus due to some contribution from middle order they able to scored a 300+ target which they can easily defend through thier bowling Lineup, while opponent bowler like M. Jansen and Ngidi show some magic and took decent number of wickets throughout the match
