Looking at the recent results, I'd say India should be the favorites to win the tie. Also given the fact that the match is happening in India(Mohali) should favor them. I think the odds are a bit juicy for betting on India and I might as well do just that. 1.86 for the home side that has a few in form players, against a team that just lost to South Africa(even though it wasn't the full squad). Looks like good value to me. How does it pan out? we'll find out soon enough. Toss will be crucial as the team chasing should be favored to pace the innings into the evening.

Edit: Just noticed that India are resting Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav for the first two ODIs. K.L Rahul will be the captain for them. With that info, maybe I would favor Australia to take the first  ODI if they field their full squad. Will have to wait to find out.

The first ODI between Bangladesh and New Zealand got called off because of rain. Despite the weather interference, we had experienced impressive bowling from the Bangladesh, giving hope for a potential win if rain hadn't disrupted the match. Looking forward to the next game.
It's unfortunate that weather is affecting so many matches lately. Let's hope the rain doesn't dominate the ODI World Cup, and turning it into DLS World Cup.

Of course it was a great match but the rain spoiled the whole enjoyment of the match. You are right that the Bangladeshi bowlers bowled brilliantly and did not give the New Zealand batsmen an open chance to score. If the match had not been canceled due to rain,So the Bangladesh team was in a position to win the match. MustafizurRahman and Nasum Ahmed showed excellent bowling, due to which five players returned to the pavilion for 136 runs in 33.4 overs,and the New Zealand team was looking under considerable pressure.

A few days ago, various matches were canceled due to rain in the Asia Cup, which did not make the tournament as good as people were thinking. I think the current weather is the weather of the rain, and it is often raining. If the schedule of these matches had been a bit change, it would have been a good thing for cricket's fans. Both teams have different sets of objectives with this series. Although Mitchell Marsh was out quickly but David Warner and Steven Smith gave some strength to the Australian scoreboard however both of them are out now and once again Australia has two new batsmen on the batting crease. I didn't watch a single ball of Australia's inning but after checking the scorecard it does look Indians did an alright job with the ball, considering this ground is considered batting heaven.

Australia has set a target of 277, and at the moment, the game seems to be in India's favor. Both Indian openers are batting with a good run rate. While Shubman Gill appears confident and he's aiming for a big score with clean and precise shots. The pitch seems typical for India, challenging to bat on under the sun but becoming more favorable for batsmen when the dew sets in.
