I didn't watch a single ball of Australia's inning but after checking the scorecard it does look Indians did an alright job with the ball, considering this ground is considered batting heaven.

Having a temp WK in the playing XI has its fair amount of cons.

Indian team were on fire once again before the ODI world cup, I think it's will be a warm-up match on thier home ground and victory of such series will really worth for them because it will boost thier moral and with the help of such series they will clear with thier starting XI of upcoming World cup. Australia were in a big big trouble after unfortunate run out of green but later injlis and stoinis played some responsible batting through they able to score a decent defendable target, I think now team management will realise thier mistake of not picking one of thier best bowler Shami who dismissed 5 one of most important player with a decent economy compared to other who hasn't pick much wickets them him.

The target that was given by Australia was definitely not enough in my opinion. Right now, India needs to score 35 runs from 42 balls and they have six wickets in hand. That is going to be very easy for India. The opening partnership of India was really good. I thought Australia will be able to do better in the bowling lineup. Especially because they did not give a very big total for India to chase. But Australia were not able to do that. India was successfully targeting Marcus Stoinis. India pretty much took him out of the equation. Getting almost 8 runs per over from him. This is going to be an easy win for India.

I was puzzled for a moment. I thought there was a new batter in the Indian team named Sky or Akash who I don't know yet. LOL. FYI, Akash is a common name in India which also means SKY. That was the reason why I was confused for a few seconds. Anyway, I did not watch a single ball today so I won't comment on that. Judging from the scorecard; even though India is winning the match, It seems Aussie batters did well. The problem is their bowlers were unable to perform well.

Openers Gill and Rohit are in good nick, Virat seems to be back in form, KL was always good in no 4-no 5 in ODI (only confidence was the issue because of fall out from the test and t-20 team).

For number 5 they have to test Iyer more because recent form matters. He's a good bat in this position but fitness is a big issue with him. His potential replacement Kishan is doing a fairly good job. Hardik is solid at number 6. Jadeja is looking rusty for number 7 but he's a prize all rounder. SKY selection would be based on gamble IMO, if Iyer or Kishan fails.

India showed that they are best at their home ground and no team should take the Indian team lightly. Chasing a score of 276 runs and making the opening partnership of 142 is just phenomenal. Can't expect a better start by the Indian openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill who both scored 70+ runs.

Last but not least, Mohammed Shami took 5 wickets in the match and was the player of the match. Indian team peaking at the right time, first winning the Asia Cup and now a win to start the series with Australia.

PCB announced squad for ODI world cup. The squad is same as that in Asia Cup, the only replacement is Hassan Ali replacing injured Naseem Shah. The good thing is Haris Rauf is available for ODI worldcup. Pakistan performance in Asia Cup was not very much satisfactory and there batsmen need to improve there strategy.

Today the Pakistan cricket board officially announced the team of national players of cricket for the ICC World Cup. The fast bowler of Pakistan Naseem Shah was injured playing against India in the recent Asia cup. Now the PCB announced the replacement of him and Chosse Hassan ali. Hassan Ali is also one of the best bowlers of pakistan which takes more wickets and i think he is suitable for this world cup. Baber azam is the captain and now we expected a good captancy from him. In the last match with srilanka when 1 ball and 2 runs remain he keep all his players on the boundries which is i think a bad decision of him . Well the new team is fit as per the PCB and now we only do prayers to win the final and bring trophy to our country.

Yeah. It does look stable, but their bowling lineup is pretty much perfect if you ask me. Siraj, Bumrah, Shami, Ashwin/Hardik and Jadeja/Axar together form one of the best Indian bowling lineups hands down.

Last but not least, Mohammed Shami took 5 wickets in the match and was the player of the match. Indian team peaking at the right time, first winning the Asia Cup and now a win to start the series with Australia.

Amazing stuff. The Indian bowlers are impressing me way, way more than their batsmen these days.

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill deserve most of the credit for India's victory. Because both of them are collecting very good runs due to which India is much ahead of Australia in terms of run rate and win the match.
