Bangladesh are favourites to win this match but Rain spoiled the play. Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah are making a comeback for Bangladesh. The current score of New Zealand is 10 without losing any wickets in 2 overs. Finn Allen is playing aggressive cricket 10 runs unbeaten in just 5 balls. Bangladesh has quality fast bowlers and a good spin attack but they need early wickets and restrict New Zealand to under 250 runs then they have a good chance to win this match.

New Zealand managed to set a huge target of 255 runs. I would call it a big target on this pitch. Because the pitch is quite bowling friendly. The bowlers are doing very well on this pitch. But Sodhi like Jamieson batted very responsibly today. 255 runs is a good enough target if the bowlers are able to bowl controlled. But I am not sure if the New Zealand bowlers will do well. Very slow batting at the beginning of the innings. But now he is playing well enough. Tamim is unbeaten with 35 runs off 36 balls. Tanzid collects 10 runs off 8 balls. Anyone watching the England vs Ireland match at Nottingham? England is looking very comfortable at 220/4 after 34.5 overs. Will Jacks missed his century, as he got out for 94, but still there is a chance that England may end up with somewhere around 360-380 after 50 overs. Josh Little has been proven expensive once again, as he has gone for close to 8 runs per over. Craig Young on the other hand was more than decent so far, with figures of 7-0-38-2. George Dockrell has been the best bowler for Ireland, picking up 3 wickets.

This series will be completely one sided as it is predicted earlier.  England team is very strong and they are in good form . We saw a very good performance from england's batsmen against New zealand.  Now it is natural that England's batsmen will perform better against Ireland's inexperienced bowlers.

Bangladesh always build slow wicket to win against such teams. New Zealand is good team with attacking bowling. It always give tough time to top class teams like Australia, England and India. It performed very well in ODI cricket world Cup Final but due to bad luck it lose the match. New Zealand will win this match. It will not give Bangladesh a chance to set a partnership. Without partnership, to win match in not possible. Sodhi is playing very well, he took 5 wickets by giving 32 runs in 8 overs. Bangladesh score is 149 with fall of 7 wickets. A completely useless series for the both sides with England is playing their bench strength in this match which done good job in batting and have huge target for the Ireland but they is badly struggling in early overs and things are looking not favourable for them as well after losing 5 wickets inside 20 overs.

But from here few Irish players can do better for their own records because big target, and they have enough time for giving their best against this average English bowling side which is having no good experience of International cricket but these both Irish batsmen can create some entertainment form their batting as they have already done this in past as well against big teams.

Because it is not possible to form the World Cup with new players, it is fully understood from today's match. So I mean it is very important to bring back old experienced players in Bangladesh team.

Those of you who are Bangladeshi fans don't think that some Bangladeshi batsmen should sit on the field and play with your bats, bro, even if you don't think so, I sometimes think that some Bangladeshi batsmen are playing for the team unnecessarily, a neighborhood cricketer would do better than them.

I never had any complaint about Bangladesh bowling but always my complaint about Bangladesh batting. Where various coaching staffs have been kept by spending so much money then what is the job of these coaching staffs if there is no change in the batting technique of the batsmen. 


If Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad were not present in today's match, I don't know how shamefully Bangladesh would have been defeated. I have nothing to say about this match of Bangladesh against New Zealand.
