Bangladesh has bowled out New Zealand for 254 in the second ODI. Now, Bangladesh needs 254 runs to win and take the lead in the series. It's a good fighting total for this Mirpur pitch. Credit goes to the 95-run partnership between Tom Blundell and Henry Nicholls. Chasing won't be easy as New Zealand's bowling line-up is strong. Bangladeshi batters need to be careful.

Again Bangladesh played better than expected. At one time, they were 131 for 3 wickets down only and it seems that if they batted well, they could reach a score of 300 runs but then the Bangladesh bowlers really bowled well and made them all out at 254 runs. The good is that all the Bangladesh bowlers took wickets while the most wickets come to Khaled Ahmed and Mahedi Hasan, both of them took three wickets each.

In chasing the target, Tamim Iqbal is looking good at 19 not out but he needs support from other end too, in order to chase this target, which is not big but at the same time not a small one too. They are 34 for 1 in the 7.4 overs. Still a long time in this match left to see who will come out as a winner in the match.

Ha ha ha ha Bangladesh playing better then expected lol. they already lost 5 wickets and score only 111 runs in 24.3 overs. It was not expected that Bangladesh would play so badly in their own stadium. It looks like Bangladesh will lose all wickets before crossing the target of 254 runs set by New Zealand. Not for the first time in today's match, Bangladesh always lose easy matches.  It's really funny. Bangladesh being a good cricket team, when they go down like this with New Zealand in their own stadium, it looks very bad.

No need to laugh, when i said that Bangladesh played better than expected, it was at that moment when they were able to restrict New Zealand to  250 odds runs.

Anyway, Bangladesh's batting failed miserably today and they were all out at 168 runs only. Opener Tamim Iqbal made 44 runs but no batsmen supported him and they kept losing wickets on the other side. Mahmudullah's 49 later in the innings was never going to be enough as i said there was no resistance in batting for anyone else.

Six wickets for Ish Sodhi and 35 runs for him, what a match he had today and was truly the player of the match.

Bangladesh are favourites to win this match but Rain spoiled the play. Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah are making a comeback for Bangladesh. The current score of New Zealand is 10 without losing any wickets in 2 overs. Finn Allen is playing aggressive cricket 10 runs unbeaten in just 5 balls. Bangladesh has quality fast bowlers and a good spin attack but they need early wickets and restrict New Zealand to under 250 runs then they have a good chance to win this match.

Today, Bangladesh bowled brilliantly from the start. Like the first match, Mustafizur Rahman bowled brilliantly today. So far Mustafizur Rahman has taken 2 wickets with 19 after bowling 5 overs. Bangladesh squad has been changed in today's match. Khaled Ahmed made his ODI debut today, picking up 1 wicket in the first over. Bangladesh's pace bowling is getting better today. So far New Zealand has scored 56 runs in 12 overs losing 3 wickets. Bangladesh will be far ahead to win the match today if they can get New Zealand all out before 250 runs.  Let's see how many runs New Zealand is able to give the target in the end.

Match looks quite interesting to watch and based on both teams performances in the second ODI I think Bangladesh performance better than New Zealand at this moment. New Zealand managed to score 106 run in 22 overs and losing 3 wickets. New Zealand is slowly moving ahead in the match. H. Nicholls and T. Blundell are currently at batting. H. Nicholls scored 38 runs in 51 ball and not out while T. Blundell also scored 37 run in 42 balls also not out. If this partnership continues for a long duration then New Zealand will successfully set a challenging target for Bangladesh team and also putting a lot of pressure on them.

New Zealand posted 254 runs in the loss of all wickets in 49.2 overs. A fighting knock from Tom Blundell comes to an end in 68 runs in 66 balls.I think Its a good total in this bowling support pitch. Khaled Ahmed Bangladesh debt bowler bowled well picked 3 important wickets by giving 60 runs in 9.2 overs. Ish Sodhi was run out 17 runs at the non strikers end by Hasan Mahmud. The third umpire checked and gave OUT when Sodhi started walking out but Bangladesh skipper Litton Das and Hasan Mahmud called him back again. Sodhi hugged Hasan at the end and played a Crusial innings of 35 runs for New Zealand and helped him to cross 250 runs

New Zealand managed to set a huge target of 255 runs. I would call it a big target on this pitch. Because the pitch is quite bowling friendly. The bowlers are doing very well on this pitch. After New Zealand lost 7 wickets for 187 runs, I think the team will lose all wickets in 210. But Sodhi like Jamieson batted very responsibly today. 255 runs is a good enough target if the bowlers are able to bowl controlled. But I am not sure if the New Zealand bowlers will do well. Their performance against England was very poor.

2nd odi New Zealand win by 86 run against Bangladesh. While batting first New Zealand scored 254 all out in 49.2 overs. Congratulations to New Zealand for their win first ODI win against Bangladesh in Bangladesh after 15 long years. While chasing down the target Bangladesh 168 all out  in 41.1 overs. Mahmudullah played a sensible innings of 49 runs in 76 balls and Tamim iqbal also played a good inning of 44 runs. The player of the match is Ish Sodhi for his all round performance picked up 6 wickets by giving 39 runs in 10 overs and also scored 35 runs in 39 balls. Ish Sodhu Maiden five-fer in ODIs and best bowling figures in ODI 6/39 in 10 overs. New Zealand is now lead the 3match series by 1-0 i hope Bangladesh will bounce back in 3rd and Final ODI match.

It must be admitted that Bangladesh cricket team used to play well at one time, but now Bangladesh cricket players cannot play well at all. We can blame BCB for this decline in performance as things are never been ideal for them to have any improvement into their domestic setup which helps them for having quality players in this format which was their best few years back, but now they are having poor results in all formats which is surely sad news for the Bangladesh cricketing community.

In this three match series which was going to help them in World Cup now they are down by 1 - 0 with just one match remaining and most chances they will lose this series if they keep playing like this batting is the biggest concern for them as their well experienced players were also not able to have anything positive against quality New Zealand bowling Ish Sodhi done impressive job with bat and ball hopefully they will give their best in big mega event as well.

At the same time I can name a few that actually got out in a pretty bad way.

Just look at the wicket of Mahmudullah, the ball was really bad. That should have been at least a boundary.
Also, look at the ball in which Tanzid got out, he played a bad shot.
And I am not even going to talk about Soumya. I don't know how he is even getting chances. he can only play well against weaker opponents, just like Sabbir Rahman.
And at the same time, Tami Iqbal also got out in a very bad way. It's absolutely the fault of Bangladesh that they lost this match.

But they have ignored and underestimated the senior players in the last few years, even though those senior players had performed well in the last ODI world cup. Some of them were continuously performing well. The team management is taking bad decisions, which is the primary reason for the terrible form of Bangladeshi cricket team.

The performance of Ish Sodhi was incredible today. The pitch was more favourable for the spin bowlers, but Bangladesh preferred fast bowlers in the match. Although the fast bowlers got wickets today, they weren't able to create pressure on the batsmen.

Don't you think Asia Cup was really enough to tell you that Bangladesh team isn't really a team which can compete with the major teams. In the last 3 world cups I was always hopeful that Bangladesh has the capability of reaching the Semis but honestly Cannot say this in this very world cup. Even Afghanistan this time doesn't really looks like a team which could give a big competition to anyone, the only bet they have is that India has turning tracks which can really help them.

Now England team has finished their batting and they performed brilliant in this match. In this ODI series, England seems to be very strong, and if first match completd there would have been 90% chance of England winning. Checking out score summary of this match England set a challenging target of 334 runs in 50 overs and losing 8 wickets for Ireland team. They have put a lot of pressure on Ireland team and their bowling performance not be going good. It looks that Ireland face difficulties to chase down this target.

A completely useless series for the both sides with England is playing their bench strength in this match which done good job in batting and have huge target for the Ireland but they is badly struggling in early overs and things are looking not favourable for them as well after losing 5 wickets inside 20 overs.

England won the 2nd ODI by 48 runs and lead the series by 1-0. England give a high targer of 334 runs in loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs. Will Jacks played an impressive innimg of 98 runs in just 88 balls and Sam Hain debt player scored 89 runs in just 82 balls batting amazingly. While chasing down the target of 335 runs Ireland team only manage to score 286 runs in loss of all wickets in 46.4 overs. George Dockrell played a good inning of 43 runs alongside with Craig Young 40 runs unbeaten in 44 balls but unable to chase down the target and loss by 48 runs. England is very strong team but they way Ireland played is quit impressive and have ability to bounce back in last match.

This is New Zealand's first ODI win since 2008 in Bangladesh. New Zealand won the match by 86 runs. New Zealand batted brilliantly to score their highest total at Mirpur. Mustafizur bowled well at the start and gave an early breakthrough to Bangladesh. Nicholls and Blundell's partnership set the tone for a big total, but NZ lost the moment at the crucial points. Still, they managed to set a par total.  
Sodhi's six-wicket haul (the first by a New Zealand spinner in ODIs) set New Zealand in a commanding position. Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals. Apart from a couple of batsmen from the Bangladesh side, no one stood up to the task, and with the World Cup starting in a couple of weeks, this kind of batting display is a concern for Bangladesh.  

In the bowling action, Bangladesh started well, but later Bangladesh team did not do accordingly. Mirpur Stadium is always dominated by Bangladeshi bowlers. Bangladesh team could not dominate today's match. Although the score is not a big obstacle but Bangladesh team failed in batting. All wickets were lost for just 168 runs in a target of 254 runs. Tamim Iqbal got off to a good start but then lost 4 wickets in a few runs which made it difficult for Bangladesh team to chase the match and they lost all the wickets in 41.1 overs. New Zealand got a big win against Bangladesh team in the first match of the series.

I think in my mind it's an easy victory for Bangladesh because they already get them before done any kind of big damage but unfortunately they still can't, I taught they have home advantage which will really help them also some important player of NewZeland were not available like , Latham , Conway , Williamson, Mitchell etc which has ability by itself to divert the entire match to his side but unfortunately Bangladesh hasn't correctly utilize his absence opportunity and lose the important match.
Now they have only single opportunity to tie the series because already first match has been washout by rain while second won by NewZeland now if they lose the last match then they will not only lose the match but series too. Currently Bangladesh batting hasn't show any potential through which we can say that they will.

Overall its a satisfactory performance from Ireland side.

I think in my mind it's an easy victory for Bangladesh because they already get them before done any kind of big damage but unfortunately they still can't, I taught they have home advantage which will really help them also some important player of NewZeland were not available like , Latham , Conway , Williamson, Mitchell etc which has ability by itself to divert the entire match to his side but unfortunately Bangladesh hasn't correctly utilize his absence opportunity and lose the important match.
Now they have only single opportunity to tie the series because already first match has been washout by rain while second won by NewZeland now if they lose the last match then they will not only lose the match but series too. Currently Bangladesh batting hasn't show any potential through which we can say that they will.

As Bangladesh team has a great record at home, it was not a difficult task to expect them to win against New Zealand. But nothing is certain in cricket. The New Zealand team has been quite weak in the past few series but still Bangladesh could not hold their win in this match. So far i know Bangladesh's chances of up grading their rank in the ranking if they win this series but no longer possible. Since rain abandoned the first match. Therefore, by winning the last match, Bangladesh team will try to reach in equal position. But as New Zealand won the second match of the series they have a chance to win the series. They will definitely try to win the match.

Now England team has finished their batting and they performed brilliant in this match. In this ODI series, England seems to be very strong, and if first match completd there would have been 90% chance of England winning. Checking out score summary of this match England set a challenging target of 334 runs in 50 overs and losing 8 wickets for Ireland team. They have put a lot of pressure on Ireland team and their bowling performance not be going good. It looks that Ireland face difficulties to chase down this target.

A completely useless series for the both sides with England is playing their bench strength in this match which done good job in batting and have huge target for the Ireland but they is badly struggling in early overs and things are looking not favourable for them as well after losing 5 wickets inside 20 overs.

England won the 2nd ODI by 48 runs and lead the series by 1-0. England give a high targer of 334 runs in loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs. Will Jacks played an impressive innimg of 98 runs in just 88 balls and Sam Hain debt player scored 89 runs in just 82 balls batting amazingly. While chasing down the target of 335 runs Ireland team only manage to score 286 runs in loss of all wickets in 46.4 overs. George Dockrell played a good inning of 43 runs alongside with Craig Young 40 runs unbeaten in 44 balls but unable to chase down the target and loss by 48 runs. England is very strong team but they way Ireland played is quit impressive and have ability to bounce back in last match.

I expected a better performance from England. In the previous series, England won every match against New Zealand by a big margin. They won the last two matches by 181 and 100 runs respectively. I thought we would see a similar performance from England against Ireland. And they will win by a large margin. But England won by 48 runs. However, the performance of England's bowlers needs some improvement as they look to become world champions. I don't like the performance of any other bowler except England's Rehan Ahmed.
