Australia have won the toss and decided to bat first.

Indian team have rested some of their players for this match. Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav are back in the side. India have strengthened their batting lineup and given a chance to the senior player to flex their muscles before the mega event.  Australia also made changes to their team. Experienced Fast bowlers Cummins and Stark are back in the side along with Maxwell. It will be interesting to see how the game will develop.

The third match between India and Australia will get underway in a few hours from now. The news from the Indian camp is that Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav will be playing in today's match. There are some reports coming out that the Netherlands are playing ODI warm up matches against Karnataka.

Karnataka literally humbled them or some might say humiliated them. At one time Dutch team scorecard was 3/7, all top 7 batters scored 0 ( 3 extras were the high scorer), followed by 39/9. Then their tail wagged before getting bowled out for 123. Karnataka won by 142 runs. Wish there was some highlight to watch.

If they were down to 39/9, then how these guys will perform at the ODI World Cup against the stronger teams like India, Pakistan and Australia? I don't want to blame Netherlands here. A few days ago, Sri Lanka got blasted out for a total of just 50 runs. Quality of cricket outside the pig-4 has gone for a walk. The gap is narrowing between the pig-4 and remaining teams. And in case of associates such as Netherlands, they also have to deal with the double whammy of getting almost zero funds from the ICC.

To be fair to Netherlands, karnataka unit is no mug and considered one of the strong team in domestic They are very much capable of giving tough fight to any international team, even in red ball cricket.

Looks like rohit and kohli will open for india, this should be fun to watch. Australia virtually going with their wc team.

I guess there was no intention to win a match or win the series. The purpose of this series is to try out the performers and practice for the World Cup. There is no interest in this match or in this series as a Bangladeshi. More interesting drama happening in Bangladesh cricket outside of the ground as Sakib and the coach agree not to take Tamim Iqbal into the World Cup squad.

If Bangladesh team management selects Tamim Iqbal for the World Cup squad, Sakib is not going to play in the World Cup. Tamim said he is not 100% fit and he cannot play all the matches. Let's see where it goes.

I agreed with you. BD team didn’t care about winning this series even they can draw. I think it’s seems whitewash if 1st ODI wasn’t abounded due to the rain, batting failure is their weak point i've seen. Furthermore is it just me or anyone feeling nostalgic about seeing Rohit and Virat bat and remember the old days when these two used to dominate the opposite team’s together and on that note I feel that if they both can survive till the 30th over then team India will be cruising towards an easy win.
