Australia's innings would have stopped before 250 if they failed to collect 18 runs in the last over. Still, Australia managed to muster a decent collection to contend with.
India was completely in control of the match till 30 overs. In 30 overs India must have collected 141 runs with the loss of two wickets. And at the end of 40 overs, India's total was 195/4. Despite having enough wickets, the Indian team could not collect 63 runs in the last 10 overs. I would say India lost because of bad batting by the batsmen.

Australia Women vs India Women 2nd ODI match today. In the first match, Australia women performed brilliantly and won by 5 wickets. As the series will be 3 matches, if Australia women can win today then the series will be won. On the other hand, India Women need to win today's match to level the series.

The Indian side did a really good job and gave a really tough time to their champ opponent Australia; unfortunately, they didn't get victory by just a few runs behind, but the way they played, especially the young talent R.Ghosh and Rodrigues, and while a bit of contribution from Mandana too made them almost get victory, but some unexpected dismissal took such an easy victory away from them, and thus they not only lose the second match but lose the entire series with a current 2-0 margin. Anyway some magical deliveries from Deepti Sharma in the first innings really smashed the strong Australian Lineup and took important 5 wickets in a critical situation but all in vain as they didn't fill the required target.

Australia have won the first two of the three-match ODI series to clinch the series with one game in hand. In the first ODI match against India, Australia women team secured an easy 6-wicket win but in the second ODI match, they had to wait until the last ball to win. The Indian women team kept the tension going until the last ball and it was possible that either team could win. But in the end, Australia secured a three-run victory against India in the last ball. India women's team performed much better in the second ODI than they did in the first ODI but still lost the series. The third ODI is now just a regulation match, though India's women's team can avoid the embarrassment of a whitewash if they win the third match.

After dropping seven catches still bowlers done good job and restricted Australia on target which was chase able for them but their poor technique in batting and strike rate hurt them badly so they were not able to win this second ODI which is surely hurting fans badly after winning test matches now losing both ODI surely poor from these women's.

Richa Ghosh and Deepti Sharma both done good job, but things were not favourable for them in this tight ended second match of the series Phoebe Litchfield were also done good job but match winning performance from the Annabel Sutherland give fair chance to have won this match and series as well between these two exciting teams.
