India are unbeaten so far in the trination series between Afghanistan U19 South Africa U19 and India U19. India have won all three of the first three matches and with 100% wins in three matches they have earned 6 points and these six points have put them at the number one position in the points table. Afghanistan U19 team has won only one match and their number of points is 2 and they are number two in the table with these two points but South Africa have played two matches so far but they have not seen any win. India will be the first favorite team for this series and from my side I will put Afghanistan ahead as the second favorite team as Afghanistan U19 team is doing quite well now compared to South Africa U19 team.

The youngsters of the Indian team have performed well. Especially the excellent bowling of the bowlers impressed everyone. After winning the toss, the captain of the India Under-19 team decided to field. And he proved that his decision was correct. Indian bowlers showed their dominance from the start of the match. Afghanistan Under 19 team lost four top order batsmen for just 8 runs. And even then they can't get back to the truck. Afghanistan's innings stopped at just 88 runs. Naman Tiwari bowled 7 overs for only 11 runs and picked up 4 important wickets. This young Indian bowler bowled well.

As expected, India u-19 destroyed Afghanistan.  Adarash Singh scored a brilliant 50 to chase a very low target which was not a problem for India u-19 to chase. Naman Tiwari on the other hand only conceded 11 runs from 7 overs and got 4 wickets. The rest of the bowlers got 3 wickets each to pack the Afghan batting lineup pretty quickly. They only scored 88 runs. Nasir Hossain had the highest score. To me the result is not unexpected.

Their next match is against South Africa and that match will be more interesting than this one. But I believe India will win it anyway.

Indian International ODI cricket team tried best to win World Cup 2023 but they lose final against Australian International ODI cricket team due their bad luck. Just batting 12.1 overs India squad U19 squad defend this target 88 scores and also lose one batter. Exactly! Indian Under Nineteen team is much stronger in this Tri-Nation Tournament. They played two matches and won and they are also leading in point table. I think if they will continue this performance so I hope they will win easily this tournament.

The Indian U19 team has become far more than other teams as they have been winning the U19 World Cup for consecutive years. They are to be the favorites in this tri-nation cup without any doubts. The problem happens when these youngsters qualify for the IPL. Their performance as a cricket player goes down because these guys get paid very well at a small age. I am not agreed about South Africa because they are currently on decline and I have feeling if they are not going to change their policies then surely they can face consequences as we have in West Indies with their team can go down badly here now time for them to have fair and solid strategy which helps their system for producing quality cricketers and improve their structure but due to political influence and having few other issues surely giving them setbacks.

In last 32 years they completely fail to bring positive improvement and having the worst fall in quality and consistency which is surely never been good if they want to be good then surely they need to work on system and structure which is important for the improvement.

I mean when you have this big of population, talented players are bound to come out. All the BCCI has to do is find them out and train and nurture them. They definitely have a very strong talent hunt system to find out the talented young players. Some of the recent young players are very talented and some of them are not performing right now in the national team but it is okay. It will take time.

As far as I can remember, Shubman Gill also suffered at first but the Indian team gave him chance after chance and now he is one of the best openers in the world. Their squad depth is so good that 2 of their team can be formed to play 2 series at the same time.

Afghanistan's growth seems to have stagnated after they got the test status in 2019. They performed well in the 2023 ODI World Cup, but apart from that their performance during the last 4 years have been sub-par. In fact, both the teams (Afghanistan and Ireland) who got test status back in 2019 have faced the same fate. I am not sure exactly what happened. But it seems that for both the teams the "golden generation" of players retired and the younger players failed to fill the gap. And this is being reflected in the performance of Afghan U-19 team as well.

If population is main factor of comparing with one team to another, then how did they become such a big team and who can they compete with in India. I think money & other many stuffs is play important role to build a strong team. Bangladesh has big population over 174 million (i think it’s not accurate data) but they can't produced such an international players as considering massive population, and also Pakistan has high population 240 million, but they can't make enough. On the other hand Australia & New Zealand both of extremely lower population but these are big teams.

Zimbabwe tour of Sri Lanka

In this tour they will play two series ODI and T20I series. Both series have three three matches. Tomorrow the ODI series will be started and Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka will face each other. In we took a look on ICC World cup so we remembered that Sri Lanka didn't played well. Sri Lanka is still looking more strong. By the way we can't predict correctly which team will win the series or the matches. So tomorrow performance will show everything. I hope Sri Lanka will win the series.
