Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka, today in the ODI series second match, Zimbabwe team batsmen batted very badly. But in today's match Zimbabwe batsman Craig Irvine played quite well. Craig Irvine of the Zimbabwe team was dismissed after collecting 82 runs off 102 balls. This batsman of Zimbabwe team has performed well. However, if Craig Irvine bats a bit more responsibly, he could have scored a century in today's match. But unfortunately the 8th over bowling of Dushmantha Chameera of Sri Lanka team knocked out this great batsman of Zimbabwe team. After the fall of Craig Irvine, no other batsman of the Zimbabwean team could stand the crease well in the face of the powerful bowlers of the Sri Lankan team. Zimbabwe team batsmen fell one after another due to strong bowling by Sri Lankan bowlers. Craig Ervine top scored for Zimbabwe team with an innings of 82 runs off 102 balls. Chasing a target of 209 runs, Sri Lanka didn't get off to a good start, losing 5 wickets after scoring 90 runs. Janith Liyanage fought alone for Sri Lanka as Sri Lanka scored 172/7 when Janith Liyanage was dismissed for 95 off 127 balls as Zimbabwe put Sri Lanka under severe pressure. We see in this match, Afghanistan U19 first batting inning performance was very bad and just two batters collected normal scores 35 and resting batters wiped out below 10 scores. Rahimullah Zurmati batter collected 35 scores after batting 62 deliveries and other batter Numan Shah collected 35 scores after batting 87 deliveries. Sirlinka won this match by jusy 2 wickets and only 1 over is spare. Zimbabwe bowling performance is well Richard Ngarava picked 5 important wicktes by just giving 32 runs and Sikandar Raza also pick 2 wickets by giving 32 runs in his bowling spell. But Srilanka bastmen especially Janith Liyanage batting performance is outstanding scored 95 runs in 127 balls, unfortunately missed his well deserved century by 5 runs short but played a match winning inning.Jeffrey Vandersay also batting well scored crucial 19 runs unbeaten and win match for Srilanka.

As expected the Srilankan batting line-up is so weak that they can't even bat against the Zimbabwe bowlers. This is the far worst  batting  by the Srilankan team in an ODI. 4 wickets have gone for just 83 runs, never expected the Srilankan batting would be so pathetic. Another 10 overs to the max this match will be over, if a batter doesn't hold on. The target is not that big to chase but Srilankan batters are not that good as they were in the past.

Sri Lankan batting lineup isn't bad actually, the top orders have failed to bat well today. They were under pressure by losing the wickets continuously. The new player Janith Liyanage has played with responsibility which helped Sri Lanka to get the victory. The lower order batsman of Sri Lanka also contributed to the victory. The target wasn't anything big, but the match became competitive for the failure of the top orders.

If the target was more than 250 I thought the match would have been competitive. But the Sri Lankan team faced big problems to collect 209 runs against the bowlers of Zimbabwe

However, if Sikandar Raza bats well, the Zimbabwean team could have given a target of 250-280. But Sikandar Raza is not in good form now. I can't agree with your post. Sri Lanka really struggled yesterday. At one point they were 112/6, with another 97 runs needed for the win. But then the 7th wicket partnership between Janith Liyanage and Maheesh Theekshana took them home. Liyanage was playing in his second ODI and he showed tremendous patience under difficult conditions. Even after Theekshana got out, the other lower order batsmen (Dushmantha Chameera and Jeffrey Vandersay) managed to dig in and make sure that Sri Lanka wins this match.
