You are right there was decline in Kenyan cricket since 2003 World Cup major high point for them. It is clear that countries like Uganda are improving Kenya is falling behind and could soon be overtaken by other regional teams like Tanzania and Rwanda and Malawi. You are also right to criticize ICC for its role in this as they havr seemingly supported countries like Zimbabwe while neglecting to give enough money to promising nations like Kenya. This lack of funding from global governing body is big reason cricket has struggled to grow in smaller countries.

If you look at it, Kenya has kind of disappeared from cricket, but Kenya once had a good chance of doing well in cricket. You have raised an important point here that most teams disappear from cricket due to financial problems. However, if the government of a country wants to take cricket forward, I think it will not be a big financial problem. Through sports, we have learned about many countries, learned about the culture of many countries and learned about the cricketers of many countries. Both quarter final matches of this competition have been completed and now semi finals will be played and then final match. Hampshire squad was begun match first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 229 scores after playing 50 overs inning with lost of 9 batter wickets. Top order batter Ali Orr displayed quite strong batting performance and he played amazing inning and he collected 108 scores after playing 140 deliveries. HAM and SOM teams qualified in next Semi final games and both teams showed very great in Quarter Final games and beated their opponent with strong effort. In SOM vs GLO, GLO team won toss and they chose batting first and gave bowling line to SOM team. GLO team set 155 runs target only in 50 overs by losing all wickets and bowlers of SOM showed great help to stop GLO team to small target. Tom bowling effort was mind blowing and he took down 3 wickets in 6 overs and gave 22 runs. SOM team won this quater final game easily by chasing small runs and won game by big margin 81 ball. James and Thomas helped team to chase runs in batting and Thomas scored 40 runs and James scored 46 runs.

The second phase of 2024–2026 ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League A is almost complete and it looks loke Kenya will not be able to progress from this tournament. In Group A, Jersey is far ahead of all the other teams with 15 points, followed by Kuwait with 13. Kenya is at the 5th position, just above Qatar. Another disappointment has been Papua New Guinea.
