New Zealand keep breaking records left, right and center these days. A small country just came and decimated the world's most populated country in tests and comfortably won against them in the ODI series and all eyes are on the T20 series now.

When Daryl Mitchell got out in the 45th over, New Zealand only had 283 runs on board. They managed to score another 54 runs, with Michael Bracewell scoring most of it with help from Zak Foulkes and Kristian Clarke. Harshit Rana and Kuldeep Yadav proved to be very expensive towards the end, and both of them ended up with economy rates of more than 8. For India, it was a one-man army show from Virat Kohli. Once he got, it was all over.

But if top order fails completely then scoring any total will be harder. But biggest let down is the spin department I guess along with poor captaincy.

New Zealand really surprised everyone by defeating India.It was a great wining that New Zealand achieved.Most of the talk is about the last match because it was a competitive match and most people were of the opinion and mine too was that India would definitely win the last match.But India lost the match by 41 runs and it is very rare that the Indian team gets out before the allotted overs but New Zealand bowlers took India under control.Zakary Foulkes and Kristin Clarke New Zealands excellent bowlers were present and New Zealand proved to be very great in batting as well.Talking about India 3 batsmen chased down 337 runs very well but most of the batsmen proved to be weak.Let me tell you that after two days the series between India and New Zealand is again included.So India can take its revenge.

India lost this ODI match and they can be aggressive in the T20 match. I can say without a doubt that the strategy that Shubman Gill adopted to win this ODI match has failed so much. The bowling line of the Indian team could not create any chances due to which the New Zealand team took advantage of this opportunity and won. Indian teams like to play on target so they decided to bat and put pressure on them but in no way the bowling line of the Indian team could not stop the New Zealand batsmen from scoring more runs.

It has been proven again and again that Indian bowling flops when Jasprit Bumrah is not there. But we are also overlooking another factor. At least in Indian conditions, spinners are supposed to play a major role in containing the opposition batsmen. But during the third ODI, the full-time spinner went for 8 runs per over and he was able to pickup just one wicket. So it is a combination of two factors (absence of Bumrah and lack of a good spinner). New Zealand on the other hand did well with their inexperienced spinners (especially Jayden Lennox). Let's see how the T20I series turn out.
