Australian squad has been made with both well and less experienced players. They do have some experienced bowlers in the squad. But Bangladesh always plays better on this ground. I'm currently imagining what would happen if the Bangladesh team didn't whitewash the Australian team!

This is a dream scenario for Bangladesh. They have already won the series and now have the opportunity to register another historic event if they defeat the Australian team in their next match.

History will not care that the present Australian team is resting their core players, seeing a team that once dominated world cricket is struggling to even be competitive is a sad sight.

To add, other than what he said, it is going to be 14 teams, not 10 and divided into 2 groups only. Adding more teams might look good but it is not because the world cup has to be more competitive but we all know there are about 5 or 6 teams in total who can play to the level of getting into semi final so these leagues should be structured in different way rather than making a lot of one sided matches.

Some days are left in the ODI series between India and Afghanistan. The news is that Hardik Pandya got out, maybe India has to adjust to it. He is most likely to miss the ODI series because of his leg injury but not a big issue because India is not a team that does not have plan B, they have all the assets and all the players play with different approaches and the goal of every player is simple just to win for their team and nation. Also, to beat Afghanistan in ODI's wouldn't be a difficult task.

India will miss another key player such as Hardik Pandya, but the depth of the squad is far too rich to feel impact of such injuries. I think one day format in Afghanistan may be risky idea for the Indian camp. India are obviously ahead in game when it comes to experience and skill and Afghanistan have some world class spin bowlers who can change the course of match if the pitch provides them with even tiny bit of help. While final target for the India will be series win, they will still have to play at full speed. Yes, there was definitely a plus point for Bangladesh where Australia's good players are currently rested. Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood, Pat Commins are all currently rested, which is why Australia lost the series with Pakistan after losing the series with Bangladesh. But credit be it to the Bangladesh as they entirely deserved this boost. Taskin and Mustafizur had ability of two stars with ball and to dominate an opponent of size of Australia at home, is huge for their confidence. They have once again shown their skill in such situations. It is easy to see 3-0 sweep and tempting to go along with it, but Australia do not lie flat for this long. Corners are turned and they are a proud team, typically fighting back the most. A desperate Australia side is always dangerous and Bangladesh dare not slow down in the third game.
