If Afghanistan had dismissed Shubman Gill and KL Rahul, the game would have been even more difficult for India. However, since India won the first match of the series, it will definitely give them more confidence to win the next match. It is true that Afghanistan will perform strongly in the next match to defeat India and level the series. So, since India is in good form at the moment, they should improve their game even more. The rain reduced the match to 25 overs in the 1st ODI between India Vs Afghanistan. I must say, Afg fought hard, Especially Rahmanullah Gurbaz gave his everything & played a fearless innings. His brilliant century(102) from 51 balls was enough to create pressure on the opponent.however India showed great control in bowling line and tired hard preventing Afg from crossing the 200 runs mark. afterwards, India looked calm and dominant. Captain Shubman showed his skill, led from the front with an unbeaten 84, controlling the innings carefully under pressure and earning the Player of the Match title. Ishan Kishan provided support and KL Rahul ensured there were no need to worries. India maintained a healthy run rate & able to disallowed Afg to build momentum or made them weak. Overall it was a professional performance from India, showing their strong batting depth, disciplined bowling line including the excellent game awareness in a rain affected match
