Last two matches could not be completed because of bad weather. One match among Netherlands squad and USA squad was abandoned without playing single delivery and other match scheduled today among Canada squad and Netherlands squads was stopped after just playing 4 overs and in this match, Netherlands squad had managed 15 scores before match was called off because of poor weather.

India A vs Sri Lanka A

This was great game! At the end of 50 overs, the score was tied at 265 for both the teams.
Game turned into Super Over and Sri Lanka A held their nerve to come out on top and clinch the match. Sri Lanka A batsmen, despite India A 265, which appeared to be solid score, were able to fight all way till final ball, to even the scores. Sri Lanka A were under extreme pressure in Super Over but were better team and won. It was amazing match in all aspects. It was contest right to the death!

It was an interesting moment in which the hard work and strength of both were equal in the end and after that a super over was played in which Sri Lanka A played well and strongly which resulted in their victory. In the super over, Sri Lanka A batted first with good effort and hard work and scored 16 runs in this over and it became a very tough target for India A and the India A batsmen could only score 9 runs after that the victory went to Sri Lanka A. India A had such a good chance that they would not have let this match go to the super over which would have given them victory. The advantage for Sri Lanka A was that the batsmen did not make any negligence in this 1 over, which resulted in a defeat for India A. India A batsmen needed 17 runs and it was enough tough for them.

In yesterday's match between India and Sri Lanka, India tried to give a very good performance, but due to their opening players who could not bat well, their middle order also did not work. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who scored 24 runs and gave away a wicket, and Tilak Varma also did not show any special work in the middle order, and due to this, neither their middle order nor their top order worked. A good match was played between the two teams, and Sri Lankan bowler Mohamed Shiraz showed good bowling and he made three players walk to the pavilion and due to his good bowling, the Sri Lankan team will be able to tie their match. I stopped following this series as it was interrupted by rain often and it is impossible to make an accurate prediction because the DLS method is a bit confusing to predict on the fly. It was another close match and another loss for India A.

Initially I though this series would be easy to predict because India A had a strong team on paper, but the rain interventions made it impossible to place a good bet. In the match against Afghanistan A, I messed up my bet and lost a huge amount, so I am glad I did not place a bet on this series again. If not I would have lost money yet again in this match.

Full credit to Sri Lanka A for taking the match to the Super Over and then winning it. My betting sense would have predicted that it is impossible for a team like India A, with openers like Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, to lose in a Super Over.

It is certainly too frustrating, when competitive game which is much waited one, goes out of hand on so critical part of game, due to the reason of outside causes. Weather will be the main factor in playoff for the 2nd half of League 2 tables, if they do not open soon for any reason it will be downer for both sides, when two successive home games to both teams have fallen in tough and wash out positions. I think that cancellation of the match after 4 overs is huge failure on part of Canada in particular as they are in good form and they have good tactics over Netherlands. When the weather is involved in series, it is awful to divide, and fans are left at the end with no decision as to whether series is good or bad which leaves them like "what happened?

Previously, if we look at the first match, Afghanistan was about to win it and end India's winning streak, but nope, they also failed there. But in this series, we look at them in a different way, they are approaching with a different mindset and critical thinking. On top, India is missing some of their key players, but still they managed to score over 400 runs. It's impossible to beat the real India team otherwise, we have seen they recently beat India A.

Ind A had given a very tough target to SL A to won, but SL A showed through their performance that they have the courage to winning the game at all costs because the game ended in a super over and SL scored unbeaten runs in the super over and secured the won for themselves because Ind A knew that they would not be able to score 17 runs in 1 over, owing to which they played in a struggle the entire time and in the end lost the game. Ind A should have bowled the last over very hard and bowled a better and quality bowler so that he could have stopped SL A from their tough bowling and not allowed them to chase the target. Ind A will be very ashamed of their defeat because despite so much hard work and struggle, they will lose.

India has won the first two matches of the 3-match series. Hopefully they will win the third match as well.

With the centuries of these two Indian batsmen, India set a huge target of 402 runs with 1 ball remaining in the allotted 50 overs.
When Afghanistan came to bat in the second innings, they had a target of 232 runs in front of them, meaning they were under pressure from the start and in the end they could only collect 232 runs in 44.3 overs. Except for Rahmat Shah of Pakistan's 79 runs, no other batsman could score a half-century.
Anyway, congratulations to India for winning the series by taking a 2-0 lead in the series so far.
