In the previous first match, India made the mistake of taking Afghanistan lightly but this time they were trying their best and of course the team is back in their best mode. Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan scored centuries, what a partnership that was. When Jaiswal lost his wicket on five runs, this duo came and blew everything away with the bat. Rohit Sharma also scored some valuable runs, which helped the team a lot in the sense of making a comeback after the loss of the first wicket.

It was a kind of blessing for the Lucknow crowd, two centuries in a single innings and a dominant one-sided, easy game for Team India. It was epic show of Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill.

By the way, it seems like we were watching T20 in a one-day match, both of the batsmen were playing with the run rate of approx. 150, so what can anyone demand for better performance. Brilliant gameplay by them and now India has won the series. Yeah, one more game is left which will be played with a 3-day break in Chennai.

By playing first they scored 402 runs and lost all wickets. In thi inning shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan played outstanding inning. They scored highest runs in this inning. Just 3 players played outstanding batting remaining other players could not played well and they lost back to back wickets. This thing was disappointed for team, if other players played well then they could score 450 plus runs or maybe 500. Anyway they gave a big total for chasing. On the other hand opponent team bowled very disappointed bowling. They gave more runs and faced trouble with two players. Bilal shami and Muhammad saleem gave more runs they took 1 wicket and gave more extra runs so they delivered very poor bowling. Since it was big total for chasing and this was challenging for them so they tried to chase the total but they looked unable to succeed in this running. Just 3 players scored well runs and these runs was not enough to win the match. So they showed also poor performance in batting line and lost the match very badly by 170 runs.

This makes the first match one side strong and still it shows the strength and success of one side and now the whitewash can also go in favor of Afghanistan because they did not play with much hard work and effort in the series, so far they have lost the series by losing two matches, but their carelessness is yet to be whitewashed. In this match, the bowlers of Afghanistan played very weakly and did not make any effort, so the Indian batsmen have given a strong target of 402 runs and it was an impossible victory for Afghanistan, so they scored 232 runs and the whole team was out and from here you can gauge the strength of India. Although the Indian batsmen had also lost all the wickets before the last ball, but they will make the target so strong that it tough for them to be defeated.

Afghanistan's bowling line was bad in both the 1st and 2nd matches. We know that Afghanistan's bowling line is quite strong but it has not done well in this series. However, in the 2nd match, Afghanistan's bowling line was not good as well as their batting line so they will have to improve in both batting and bowling in the next match. Shubman Gill is leading the team brilliantly as captain and has batted brilliantly in both the 1st and 2nd matches which is very commendable. Afghanistan lost the series by losing the first two matches so I don't expect any exception in the 3rd match, I think India will win the 3rd match as well and Afghanistan will be whitewashed.

Shubman Gill is come back in this game because he played with top class strike rate in this match and we did not expect that kind of performance by that player because he plays with strike rate of 85 to 90 but he played with strike rate of 140 in this match which was great effort by that player. Rohit Sharma is part of the team which is good for the team because he always play for the team and plays fearless for the team. Ishan Kishan made a score of 125 in this match. Ishan Kishan strike rate was also good in this match because he is a top class player and he is  important player of T20 team but he played well in the ODI match. Kharote took 4 wickets in this match but it doesn't matter because match was one sided from the start of the match.

Amazing moves taken by Shubman Gill that led to the victory of the series for India, but Afghanistan is still in the race, since they performed well immediately in the first game meanwhile, they have the potential to beat India in the third match. They need to overcome their fears and go ahead and needs to take some different kind of decisions after thinking a lot for example regarding toss after analyzing pitch very deeply and whatever more so they can end up winning the 3rd and the last ODI match.

In this second ODI match, the performance of the Indian team was very good because their team scored 402 runs in this 50 over match, in which Rohit Sharma scored only 48 runs, but the performance of the two players who came after Rohit Sharma was very high, almost 300 runs were scored by both of them. Ishan Kishan scored 125 runs and Shubman Gill scored 154 runs, which gave them a good start and set a great target in front of the other team, but the Afghanistan team could only score half a score in this match, yes, they scored only 232 runs and this match ended. The result of this match was that the Indian team won this match by 170 runs. The performance of the Afghan team was also good, but their players could not stand up to the Indian team and the Afghan team lost this second match of the Afghanistan Tour of India.

The kid scared them for life with the way he was batting so whatever chance they got, trying to criticise him or even trying to pull his confidence down so they can say there is no wonder kid. I mean, humans are selfish though.

Still he didn't score terrible, I saw a 44 or something from 21 ball in the second game still they call this failure then imagine what type of standard he set for the rest of the world.

I don't understand the point in having these sort of matches. The gap between the two teams was quite evident, as India won by a margin of 170 runs. The only purpose of this series seems to be to improve the individual career stats for players such as Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan. BTW, it was good to see players like Prince Yadav making his debut and Gurnoor Brar getting one more match. Yadav was expensive, but at the same time he picked up two wickets. India's concern will be in the spin department. Kuldeep Yadav went wicketless, and Washington Sundar didn't impressed either.

It looks like he is struggling to hit due to the wind in Srilanka. I have seen him getting caught most of the time. He reached 44 last time; this time, he will try to cross 50. He has the potential, but if he can be intimidated through sledging, it could ruin his career. When you rise, there will be others waiting for you to fall at the moment; this is what it looks like.

Well, since everyone is talking about the massive partnership of Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill, but if we think from a different point of view, we're always in search of plan B. For example, except these two players, no single player pushed the team. We can also analyze it that even the lower order batsmen were just coming, scoring 2 to 3 runs and going back to the Pavilion. Mostly they were losing their wickets in search of boundaries, so India needs to make their approach a bit different in their plans. That may help them improve when playing against better nations.

Final game of this tri nation series will be played in two days between India A team and Sri Lanka A team. Today Afghanistan A and Sri Lanka A game was concluded and this was 6 th game of this series and held at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. Afghanistan A team won toss and they selected field first and gave batting lineup to Sri Lanka A team. Sri Lanka A batsmen set big target 322 runs in 50 overs by losing 8 wickets. Opening of Sri Lanka A team was brilliant and both opener niroshan and Avishka batsmen helped team to win this game and Avishka batsmen made outstanding century 110 runs in 97 balls and hitted thirteen 4s and one 6s. Niroshan batsmen performed great with Avishka batsmen and made 66 runs in 54 balls and hitted twelve 4s.  Afghanistan A team failed to chase all runs and lost this 6 th game by big margin 103 runs. Dulaj bowler bowled out 5 wickets in 6.5 overs and gave 25 runs. Congratulations Sri Lanka A team won game and best wishes to final hame.

Indian team have the dominance on the series by 2-0. They set out 402 runs as a target which is inaccessible or highly difficult for the Afghanistan team.  The bowlers were failed to build the pressure on right time. Although Kharote did his best by collecting 4 wickets but they were failed to broke the pair of Shabman Gill and Ishan Kishan. That's allowed them to raise the graph up. It was already expected that Afghanistan's team have not ability to chase such big total. Rehmat Khan has shown some  resistance but other players couldn't helped him. So Indian team clinched the win by big gap of 170 runs. Afghanistan should reassess their players or should improved their bowling line to meet the challenges in upcoming series.

From there,133-run first wicket stand pretty much set feel for rest of the innings, Afghanistan never really had look in to take control of game. 110 off 97 is good and well built match winning score from Fernando, particularly as they chase final qualification spot. But even Afghanistan A chase had no energy and team kept on giving away wickets in a slow manner despite the contribution from Eisakhil. 103 runs margin is telling you that this was easy for Sri Lanka A from start to finish and it is just as well that Fernando got to his best at the stumps, finishing with bat just at last moment for final game against India A.

Afghanistan and India will face each other in the third and final match of the series today. The match will be played in Chennai. The Indian team is not under any pressure. India has already secured the series win by winning the first two matches by big margins.

In the second match, India was able to give a huge target of 403 runs. And they won easily. The batsmen are in excellent form. And India is not dependent on any particular batsman. Every player in the squad is experienced and talented.

India is probably going to win today's match too. Afghanistan's performance is not stable now. Defeating an opponent like India is almost an impossible task for them.

The coach is Hrishikesh Kanitkar, and the captain is Tilak Verma. By tomorrow, we will know how much sledging the kid will face. If he can keep his cool, then it will be impressive, as in his age it is hard to keep cool, also he is a Bihari 

The last ODI between India and Afghanistan is being played now. The series is so boring and dominated by India that I am skipping today's match. The test match between England and NZ is more interesting than this ODI series.
