Afghanistan and India will face each other in the third and final match of the series today. The match will be played in Chennai. The Indian team is not under any pressure. India has already secured the series win by winning the first two matches by big margins.

In the second match, India was able to give a huge target of 403 runs. And they won easily. The batsmen are in excellent form. And India is not dependent on any particular batsman. Every player in the squad is experienced and talented.

India is probably going to win today's match too. Afghanistan's performance is not stable now. Defeating an opponent like India is almost an impossible task for them.

Fact that they had an absolute meltdown in the previous match, piling 400+ runs in a match, is proof enough that batting line up is working as a team other than any individual. But I feel that to have automatic clean sweep, is to play down natural unpredictability of cricket, where a battered side can suddenly spring back. Afghanistan have been in very patchy form in recent times, and are big underdog on this Chennai spin bowl, but it is wrong to rule out their chance altogether. It is difficult to rule any country out before they start match but India will be on top again.

A small target, so it's no surprise that India achieved it easily. The match felt like a warm up for India, but for Afghanistan, playing against India meant a lot. Afghanistan's batting collapsed, but Hashmatullah Shahidi's fighting century against a strong bowling attack was really impressive. As a fan, it was exciting to watch his batting.

Afghanistan not a good test and thats why its understandable that why they lost first test miserably. But Afghanistan is good in T20 and ODI format but they were not able to play quality cricket throughout this ODI series. In first ODI, Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 102 runs while rest of batting lineup collapsed. We saw similar story today, the skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi scored 102 runs while rest of batters failed to score runs. If one batsmen is scoring runs then rest of batting also has to score runs to produce a big target.

A brilliant bowling played by P.krishna in 8 overs he took 5 wickets and give only 23 runs and in the second innings an opening partnership was made by jaiswal and rohit sharma and they both played very fearless and aggressively and with the help of this partnership India win by 9 wickets very easily and clinched the series from them.

But Afghanistan is good in T20 and ODI format but they were not able to play quality cricket throughout this ODI series. But this season they are proud of winning three consecutive matches, although it is a natural pride for India team, if they could have performed well against the opponent and strong team and won, it would have been a tough competition. Afghanistan team failed to establish their dominance, so they are preparing to perform better.

This is so depressing to see that India, because of geo political issue, is now playing ODIs, Tests, and whatnot series with a country that does not have its own ground to practise. A series with a country from the SENA countries would have sufficed to overcome the hardship the Indian players would have gone through this summer. This series was a waste of everything by BCCI for me I have never seen India playing an ODI series of any kind in June of any year in the past.

One Day format competition among India and Afghanistan has concluded and Afghanistan squad suffered whitewash 3/0. Throughout competition, matches appeared to be one sided with Afghanistan facing heavy defeat in every match. In third match, Afghanistan squad was begun match first with batting inning and batters were managed to collect 218 scores off 50 overs inning. Prasidh Krishna bowler of India squad played vital role in getting victory and he managed to pick up 5 important wickets including Azmatullah Omarzai and Hashmatullah Shahidi. With big difference 9 wickets and 128 deliveries, india squad succeeded to defeat Afghanistan squad in third match as well. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal both batters were top scorer of this match and both built strong and long partnership and managed to collect 110 and 79 scores respectively. Before this One day format competition, Afghanistan were also unsuccessful in defeating India in Test match.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was a right person in this game and he hit 3 sixes and 14 fours in this match and he played with strike rate of 127 in this match which was top class in this match. He was not out at the end of the game and Rohit Sharma also played well in this match and he made 79 runs in this match. Hashmatullah Shahidi made century in this match but his century could not do anything for his team because he was playing from loser team. Azmatullah Omarzai made 50 in this match and he is the top class player but his team could not make good score at the end. Prasidh Krishna took 5 wickets in this match . IND International cricket team is very strong team because they have quality players and every player is playing for the team.

It is very tough tri series so far and today Sri Lanka A vs Afghanistan A game is important for qualification. While Sri Lanka A have locked in their spot in the final, Afghanistan A would have to perform well to beat India A on net run rate and take second final spot as they need a 121 runs target or 250+ in 29 overs. However, Sri Lanka are in strong 269/5 after 43 overs. They will have a huge task if they go above 300 runs and Afghanistan will need to do some run rate math to qualify.

Final game of this tri nation series will be played in two days between India A team and Sri Lanka A team. Today Afghanistan A and Sri Lanka A game was concluded and this was 6 th game of this series and held at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. Afghanistan A team won toss and they selected field first and gave batting lineup to Sri Lanka A team. Sri Lanka A batsmen set big target 322 runs in 50 overs by losing 8 wickets. Opening of Sri Lanka A team was brilliant and both opener niroshan and Avishka batsmen helped team to win this game and Avishka batsmen made outstanding century 110 runs in 97 balls and hitted thirteen 4s and one 6s. Niroshan batsmen performed great with Avishka batsmen and made 66 runs in 54 balls and hitted twelve 4s.  Afghanistan A team failed to chase all runs and lost this 6 th game by big margin 103 runs. Dulaj bowler bowled out 5 wickets in 6.5 overs and gave 25 runs. Congratulations Sri Lanka A team won game and best wishes to final hame.

This is the sixth match in which three teams have played so far, namely Afghanistan A, Sri Lanka A and India A. The three teams have played four matches each, in which Sri Lanka A lost one match and won three, so it is at the first place on the table, and the other two teams are at the second and third place. The teams between which this match is being played are Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A. If we talk about it, Afghanistan is the same team at the third place in the table, and in this match too, Afghanistan A had to face defeat because the top order of Sri Lanka A was quite good in this match, with which their team set a magnificent target of 322 runs. Avishka Fernando scored 110 runs. Afghanistan A also tried hard to change their target, but could only score 219 runs and all their players were out in 42 overs and five balls.

Afghanistan opens innings first and the openers was not so good and lost their wickets early on and in middle order Hashmatullah Shahidi was so solid in this game and puts an Iconic century and also Azmatullah Omarzai puts a very useful fifty and ends the innings with a very ordinary total.

Indian batters looks very confident because the target was very easy and also Thay have the edge of home conditions and among the openers Jaiswal takes a very positive comeback by putting an Iconic century and also Rohit Sharma puts a very solid knock of seventy plus runs and India easily won this game by chasing the target early on.

There was no need for experienced players like Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul, Arshdeep Singh and Kundeep Yadav in this series. Afghanistan is not yet a team that can compete with the Indian team and the Indian A team. If India could have given a chance to their youngsters, then the series would have been competitive. Now we are just seeing a formality, where the outcome is almost predetermined. Developing teams need such series, only then these small teams can find their mistakes and use the experience to improve themselves.

It was  big damage for the team but later on Shahidi added hope and energy into the game. 102 runs were the big additions on the scoreboard. Credit goes to bowler  Pardsidh Krishna who smashed 5 players in an outstanding way. Due to masterclass bowling performance Afghanistan collapsed in 44th overs. Chasing only 218 runs for such tremendous team was quite easy. Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma set a strong tone with their partnership. Jaiswal completed his full century indicating weak grip of Afghanistan's team. They  wrapped the match in 28th overs. They celebrated as usual victory because this confidence came through strong planning and practice.

The Indian team won here one-sidedly, because the opposing team was weak in both bowling and batting. That is why in a simple equation the Indian team gave a one-sided batting performance and every player roared, the Indian team is currently very arrogant about winning consecutive ODI matches. But the Indian team players should think that the authorities were a weak team Afghanistan, so they should have given them a chance this season so that the Afghan team could win in the last batch. But the Indian team players finished the match with a greater margin, the margin of victory in each game was much higher.
This is where it is proven that the Indian team is more experienced and has won three consecutive matches with a weak team one-sidedly.
