India badly in need of win in ongoing tour of Ireland and England. Not only Jasprit Bumrah will play for India but few other big names like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul along with skipper Shubman Gill will also be part of India playing eleven to make a difference in ODI series. It will be interesting to see that how Bumrah will perform in his first ODI after 968 days. Indian team must perform well in ODI series to undo the damage done in T20 series played earlier against Irish and English teams.

India has lost 6 consecutive T20 matches. They lost 4-0 against England and 2-0  against Scotland. I have never seen such  a decline in a big  team like India.

India is also very strong in the ODI  format. But the problem is that the Indian players are not in good form. But in the first odi  match, three experienced players like Kohli, Bumrah and Rohit Sharma are returning  to the squad. I am sure its effect will definitely be seen in India's performance. Not just 3 players but different captain here, Gill and there is another classy player, KL which means completely different core players packed with more experience than any others in the current active players here, which means it could be one sided game for India's favor in my opinion. West Indies got a good opening stand of 63 runs in first 11 overs and then rest of batting collapsed like house of cards. The whole team got out for after scoring 138 runs in 36 overs. New Zealand used six bowlers but pick of the bowlers was Jayden Lennox who picked 5 wickets. It's also surprising that New Zealand lost 5 wickets while chasing a small target of 138 runs and that shows that track was difficult to bat on.
