Spinners are not doing their jobs properly. Just couple of years back they used to spin choke in middle overs but today not much help from them, this won't help in a longer run. Kuldeep (team can't afford him sitting out)and axar ( replacement of jaddu) need to find their with the ball.

8 batters ( including all rounders) + 3 main bowlers combination is not working from bowling's POV. Also they need to decide if washi/axar are bowling allrounder or batting.

From bowling quota, it looks like washi is batting allrounder and axar is bowling allrounder.

I am not sure what Gambhir is doing by consistently depending on bowling all-rounders to stretch the batting lineup. They need to bring back Kuldeep Yadav, who has the unique ability to extract turn even on completely flat tracks.

A sigh of relief for team India after back to back loss in the unexpected ways, Axar delivered under pressure and he deserves the man of the match award for the performance with both bat and ball, the same appreciations goes to the captain Gill as well but unfortunately he got injured and hope team management won't push him to play in the second game unless he is 100% fit to play.

I think the Indian bowlers are more responsible for today's victory. Because they did not let the England team survive for too long, but they repeatedly blocked and dismissed those who put up resistance.

Now let's see what will going to happen in the third match if England couldn't improve their batting performance on that match I don't think they will be win on that match.
