I find it funny that so much hate is directed towards these two. It was under Virat and Rohit that India started winning matches abroad frequently (especially in SENA nations). And just one bad match, and everyone is baying for their blood. What about players such as Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma who fails in 90% of their matches? And one of the main reasons why India won was due to the presence of Jasprit Bumrah. He picked up only one wicket, but the pressure he created indirectly helped Prasidh Krishna and Gurnoor Brar to strike at regular intervals.

Despite losing first ODI, English team did well to score 258 runs despite the fact they lost 6 wickets for just 107 runs. Axer Patel picked 4 last wickets including the key wicket of Liam Dawson. This clearly indicates that Indian bowlers were not able to take advantage of picking 6 quick wickets and still allowed English team to score 258 runs. Axer Patel was rightly given player of the match award for picking 4 wickets and scoring a half century. Kohli and Sharma are dangerous batsmen and it's not correct to criticise them on just one bad innings.

I actually would love to see Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma play the upcoming ODI World Cup, win that tournament, and retire on that glory. I am really biased toward Sanju Samson because he is a kid that I know and my fellow club mate, if not for his performance in the T20 World Cup, there is no way India was going to lift the cup.

Personally, I would like to see Gambhir being replaced by someone else. VVS Laxman is sharing some coaching duties, as he is the head coach for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour and the Asian Games.

India and England are going to face each other in the second  match of the series today. We have seen the results of the  first match. Both the Indian batsmen and  bowlers played quite well. They easily won the target of 259  runs. India reached the target of victory by  losing only 4 wickets.
Today's match is the series decider for India. If they can win this match, they will be able to win the odi  series 2-0 . India performed very badly in the T20  series. They will want to return home with a win in  the ODI series.

When they are trying to fit in washi then they are sacrificing the KL's potential, who is already played by the management to play in all the spots but atleast number 5 is the better position for him. Washington doesn't really fit in playing XI, maybe he can be in the bench for the replacement of Axar in case of injury or else the combination should be 3 pacers, with Kuldeep and Axar along with Kungfu Pandaya (hopefully).

Batdeep is an excellent strategy if you have part time bowlers like sachin, viru, yuvi, dada and Raina. This team combination shenagins could have been solved if current batters had a talent of rolling their arms.

They want bowlers to contribute with the bat, which is not bad but no one expects batters to do same with the ball.

After T20I shame, India came back with bang, winning 1st ODI by 6 wickets to take early lead in the series.
Joe Root 76 runs and Liam Dawson 61 runs took them to the 258 run mark all out. Axar Patel was the best of India bowlers with 4/62.
Indian effort struggled right from the start. The score was tight at 160/4 but Axar Patel 57 runs and Washington Sundar 52 runs put on an unbroken 102 run partnership to win easily in 45.2 overs.
Axar Patel was a deserving Player of the Match, he is 6th Indian to score a half century and pick 4 wickets in the same ODI, which includes Hardik Pandya. Also importantly, England first ODI defeat at Edgbaston since 2014.

After losing t20I series, India team made excellent bounce back in odi by winning 1 st game. They had lost t20 series 4-0 and now it remains to be seen whether India can beat England 3-0 in odi series or not. In 1 st Odi game, England team won toss and they elected batting first and gave bowling line to India team. England team gave 258 runs in 50 overs by losing all wickets. Joe batsmen batted well  and made 76 runs in 76 balls and hitted six 4s and one 6s but all his effort was useless and England did not win 1 st game. Axar bowler got player of game award because his bowling contribution was helpful and took down 4 wickets in 9.5 overs. Shubman batsmen made great progress and scored 86 runs in 75 balls and hitted eleven 4s and one 6s. Washington batsmen made brilliant half century 52 runs in 63 balls and hitting four 4s and one 6s. Congratulations India team won 1 st game by 6 wickets and 28 balls.

Today, the England team did not perform well, losing the most wickets. Because they failed to play fully, they were all out after performing for about 48 overs and scored 257 runs. Today, there is a good chance of India winning, if India is able to perform for a long time while controlling the wicket, then they will definitely win.
India has started batting performance at the moment, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill have entered the field as openers. But let's see whether India will be able to secure victory for their team in the end?

It was a great comeback after losing the T20 series. England team gave tough total in T20 series and Indian team could not win any match. So in this inning Indian team bowled outstanding and gave lowest runs. In starting England team was scoring well but as they lost 2nd wicket then they could not perform well and they lost back to back wickets. Only 3 players could score brilliant runs but these runs made slowly. So England team could not gave well total and dismissed all the at 258 runs. On the other hand Indian bowlers bowled outstanding bowling and dismissed all team at lowest total. Especially Axer patail  bowling was outstanding, he dismissed 4 players and gave 62 runs in 9.5 overs. Since it was lowest total so they played easily and  chased this total easily. Almost all batters performed well except 2. So they performed outstanding in both sides and won the match by 6 wickets

We have noticed that the first ODI match was played by India due to which they are leading in the series, but in this match also England is bowling well to defeat India. I have seen that the performance of the Indian team was very bad in the T20 series where the England team was in very good form due to which they defeated India badly. In today's match against India, the England team will play well to regain parity and they are trying to do well in bowling. Already the Indian team is batting under some pressure after losing three wickets, although Virat Kohli is already trying to play well, if he gets out, then the pressure on India will increase.

At now India is 197/7 after 36 overs and have played very poorly . Virat kohli tried his best to save the team and he played a very good innings scoring 65 runs off 66 balls and shehras iyer is also trying hard to fight and is currently batting on 60 runs . England bowling was very dangerous today especially I would mention a brilliant spell by jofra archer who take 3 wickets for just 35 runs in 8 overs . India is playing with a lot of pressure I think eng will easily win this match they just need a good partnership.

The Indian team's run rate was good today, as you can see, they are at 210 runs at the 40th over. This run rate is very much acceptable, but they have lost too many wickets too quickly. The top order tried to bat a bit longer but the middle order completely collapsed. Shreyas Iyer is batting on 60+ runs and he is the only hope if India are to reach a respectable total. If he can bat till the end and have more stike, then Indian team can still reach 280+ runs but would that be enough too

Looking at the current performance, I think it will be difficult for India to score 250 plus runs. So far, Shreyas Iyer is unbeaten on 64 runs so let's see how many runs he can add to the score.

Ishan Kishan, Washington Sundar, Shivam Dube got out without disturbing the scores. They all looked in a hurry and failed to consider that it was not a T20 match. The first thing was to spend some time on the wicket and then look for hits but they were in a hurry.

Unfortunately, despite the good batting performance of the Indian team in the first match, the Indian team is not able to perform well in this second ODI match, they have already lost their 10 wickets for just 233 runs.

270 could have been a winning total but the 233 is not really enough, those lost overs surely make a difference if the game went tight. But as of now after Bumrah's early strike the other bolwers doing doing their job too, already 3 down for 50 odd runs. There is still a chance for both sides in this game, one bowler leading the pack really bring the confidence on other bowlers too that is why we can see their body language is better than the T20 series.
