Looks like we are heading for the loss on this ODI series as well, I just now tuned in for the game and Englan is fucking the Indian bolwing attack, finally a wicket after 200 run partnership but looks like we might need to chase a total of 350+, with the confidence less batting unit, it might not be possible.

The partnership was about 192 runs between B. Ductektt and J. Bethell, while in response, India had an opening partnership of 147 runs between R. Sharma and S. Gill. The match and series were both won by the England team, who scored massively in this ODI format against India. These Eng players have played with a very better performance and both of them have made a partnership of above 200 and have taken 1 wicket. Eng players can give a better target and it can make a winning for them and from here we can see Ind defeat once again. Eng still has time to show a better performance of 12 overs and they can give a better target and Ind will not be able to struggle to meet this target. Ind bowlers are not putting pressure and if they continue to show the same performance then they will get a defeat and congratulations to Eng for the winning which they are achieving with hard work. Shreyas Iyer hasn't done well in the recent matches. But his overall performance is great in ODI format. His performance was too good in the last two major ODI tournaments (Champions trophy of 2025 and ODI World Cup of 2023). He has also played well in the T20 series of this tour. That's why many people expect him to be the future captain for India in ODI format. Anyway, it was a poor decision from India to use the youngsters in the last few overs yesterday.

Posting 188 runs as a target for such a second world class team is not enough. That's low target becomes the reason of West Indies defeat it should be high or competitive. It's Zimbabwe's bowlers excellent efforts that they bowled out whole team on such low scores. Their fielding was so planned or strict they gave no chance to the West Indies for making high scores. From New Zealand side, it was shaky start because Henry Nicholas was out on duck. But later on Mark Chapman stabilise the game and hit 80 runs for the team. Mitchell Santner also contributed well and remains not out. West Indies bowlers Motie did lot for the team his spell was really difficult for the opponents. In test format after kohli, Rahane was in line and Iyer was groomed but out of nowhere rohit came in the picture and captaincy transition phase went into crisis captain. All 3 were backed by mumbai lobby but Rahane completely lost his form and Iyer took thing too casually and pissed off many, including coach dravid ( people keep forgetting what iyer did during England's india tour). He was front runner for ODI gig as well but because of all drama, it went to new guy gill.

Now in current situation, he'll only get the job if gill is injured or he voluntary gave his captaincy. Otherwise there's virtually no chance of iyer leading ODI and surely not test side.

Yes u r right this tour was big failure for the team . I think not only this tour but from two months or a Month the India performance is going very worst day by day. The selectors or management should think that where the problem is?? A team who was unbeatable recently going through a very bad phase why? And they are playing in very pressure the wickets are falling at wrong time specially middle order and could not finish the match at the end. Hope they should fix the mistakes and change the team
