Today they played their first ODI match with Australia. Although they lost there, they performed fairly well. Although Australia's top order batsmen were able to show a good batting performance. Matt Renshaw is a young talent and he should learn from the big players and he should not be egoistic because he is going to upper level and he has to play with full concentration to make records and break records . He gave all round performance and took only 1 wicket in this match and all players were in good form and collected good score on the board. Zimbabwe's chances of winning against Australia were slim or almost impossible. The result was as expected, but the positive for Zimbabwe is that they have shown the mentality to fight even against a strong team like Australia. The improvement in performance should be a big achievement for Zimbabwe. If they could bat 50 overs, I would consider it an even bigger achievement. Zimbabwe has already lost the series by losing the first two matches of the series, I would like to see a win from Zimbabwe in the last match.
