Holy moly! Expected a script like this from the Kiwi bowlers, but not the Indian bowlers in my wildest dreams. New Zealand look like they have already surrendered this 5 match ODI series in my opinion thanks to all their batters except Mitchell playing like crap.

Every Indian bowler(Especially Brar) bowled really well. Poor stuff from the Kiwis. On a sidenote, Shami retired from test cricket and Khawaja revealed that their whole team knew about Sandpapergate(Crazy).

While India were bowling one thing that came into my mind that are these new bowler are very good or are they getting conditions that are helping them. When India started batting and they lost 3 wickets quickly, I realized that the conditions are good for bowling. But still, these new Indian bowlers have done well to restrict the NZ batters to a low total.

They played with a lot of tight work and intelligence and they forced the NZ players to play in vain. You are absolutely right. Target should be at 150 in this match but they could not stay on the Wicket and reason was IND is very strong team and they have quality bowlers who have performed in the domestic level and performed very well for their teams . New Zealand lose 2 mat matches out of 2 and IND is leading in this series and they will try to clean sweep in this match and New Zealand should try to come back in this match. If New Zealand will win next match there will be excitement in this series and we will see all matches of this series with 100 percent interest. I did not expect that the New Zealand batsmen would be all out so easily. We have discussed this earlier where the topic of discussion was that the performance of the Indian bowlers is not that good that they can destroy the opposing team by bowling. However, like the first match, in this match too, we have seen the dominance of the Indian bowlers, especially when several emerging cricketers (bowlers) have been added to the Indian team. Like the previous match, in this match too, they have all out the New Zealand batsmen for just 134 runs. Where the only batsman for New Zealand could only collect 55 runs from 104 balls. Apart from this, 8 batsmen from New Zealand could not even reach double figures in terms of runs. And out of the remaining two batsmen, one scored 11 runs and the other scored 31 runs.

It was a low scoring game and India manage to win that game to go 2-0 up in the series. Arshdeep Singh was not able to pick wicket today but both Anshul Kamboj and Gurnoor Brar are good with ball once again as they both together picked 6 wickets today. I think it is not the fault of either New Zealand or India. The rain has created a lot of problems in the match due to which it was not a strong match and there was no interest. New Zealand has now lost 2 matches in this series. Today they have not looked so strong because they did not have the ability to play well, so the rain reduced the overs and the target was 110. If the New Zealand batsmen played with a good margin in every over, India could have easily been defeated. The weather definitely played a role in the first two matches of the ODI series. If you look at the T20 series, India won the first three matches after winning the toss and chasing the total. In the fourth T20, India won the toss and elected to bowl again but this time lost the match, and the fifth match was the first time New Zealand won the toss—they sent India in to bat, and India lost the match.

The same pattern is continuing in the ODI series. India won the toss in the first two matches, the bowlers bowled well, India won the games, and it was a very fine line regarding the victory margin.

I have always complained about the lack of legitimate bowling talent compared to the exceptional batting talent we have. While the performance of the youngsters has been impressive in the ODI series so far, they all went for runs in the T20 series.

The run rate required was one run per over, but one more wicket would have changed the tide with DLS, making New Zealand the winner. The toss was the major factor; India was lucky to win the toss, and electing to bowl first was the right decision under the cold and rainy weather conditions. Like I mentioned above, in the T20 series, whenever India won the toss and elected to chase, it won the matches for India.

The pitches have behaved completely differently in the ODI series compared to the T20 series. I think they are playing on the same grounds, but it looks like a completely different pitch altogether, creating perfect Test match pitch conditions prepared for the ODI series.
