Bitcoin can go to 42000$???

Within a short span, I don't think that we're able to see that price. I'm even eyeing for $100k but that's another story and I want it few years from now.

When we're speculating and wanting to see such tremendous price, we need to consider on how long it should be and what's the current state of the market. It's okay to assume that much as long as it's realistic and you have considered many factors.

Every idea and predictions is wonderful to hear, that's why having an expectations that bitcoin will shoot that target of $42k; I guess that was really profitable. That will help other coins to also become more worthy and profitable, because their respective value is also possible to increase once exchange price will be dominated by btc's price.

Not in next 5 months. Well it can go but I would give it a small chance for that. There is no real interest for Bitcoin outside of crypto. Prediction is always there and everyone can give their own prediction but the problem is how accurate and can be really happen?since out of 1000 predictions we are lucky to have one that turns reality lol
But what I am looking is just atleast $20,000 before the halving in middle of 2020 and if this happen maybe I am enough since I can reach my target amount for selling my folio and will consider buying again in dip

These so called capital management experts or is it crypto experts need to suck it up and tell the world their predictions they keep giving and always analyzing are all bad jokes meant to lighten the moment. The trend will always change and anyone can be lucky if their prediction was hit. A strong bull run this time and we can see a new ATH but its hard to know the ceiling level. Bitcoin have to recover first right now and continue to do the slow progress until it spike high as we all wanted to see.

THis time there won't be long recover process because we already waited for more than year to hit this bull run so this time we will get some immediate action on the prices of bitcoin and I hope it will be in uptrend.

$10,000 looks for better than where we are in Feb 2019.

There is a big difference between going from 4k to 19k and going from 10k to 42k. Now I am not saying it is impossible neither but the money required to reach those levels are far higher than money required to reach 20k.

Reaching 20k should not be our aim I agree to that, we have already done that before and we surely will do it again one day, I don't know when and I don't know how but eventually we will break the all time high, however 42k in anytime soon doesn't look realistic because there isn't that much money coming into the market right now and until that type of money starts pouring into the market we will not see it. There is no way sellers will just stop selling at these levels and start selling at those levels, we have to beat those sellers until 42k and that will require some new money.

I read this story at coindesk the day before yesterday and I agree with the author that bitcoin is actually heading somewhere. We have many reasons to see bitcoin at $42,000 or even $64,000 by the end of this year. The issue of libra has really brought bitcoin as a subject of discussion this day and my country government that hardly think of cryptocurrency are now setting up different committees to look into it and see how to manage the adoption of bitcoin and another related cryptocurrency.  If you have an interest in making it huge in cryptocurrency then now should be the right time to buy as it is at indecision areas of its circle.

No, it cannot reach this level without any moves from our side.
Personally, I am tired of all these posts that say when bitcoin is going to reach 100k 200k etc.
We need to bring more crypto adoption in order to make the price go up. Without that the price would move with a top level of 20k.

the adoption rate versus selling needs to be increased for the prices to grow up and which is happening for bitcoin since it was in the market

Real world adoption is happening but not like how internet or mobile phone technologies were successful in more quicker time. It is not easy to convince all types of people to adopt an ALL NEW MONEY. But, we can believe adoption rate too may grow in exponential as common people are tend to listen to their near and dears. By considering these all, one million dollar levels too will be possible in more quick time than we could estimate.

Definitely it will reach but the question of time-frame is the mystery. This is the reason almost all positive predictions about bitcoin will be successful but time based ones may not.

I think there is a big difference between bull increases and small increases.

I mean 42 thousand dollars is a bull increase and if that happens which I doubt will happen quickly then it means there was a big bull run and it must have taken weeks before it reaches there, so it would be like 15k one day, 17k the next 19 the next 23 next and so forth until 42k.

It won't happen like one day at 10k and next it will 42k, that never happens and there isn't enough buy orders to make it go that high in 24 hours. So, I think we should focus on those small increases back to back before we focus on how high it could get, could it get to 42k one day? Sure but in order to do that it should first hit 15k and that means we should first focus on making bitcoin 15k, after that we could take a look at what it could potentially be at max.

Anyway, that prediction is unlikely, at least in the second part, because it says that bull market will last till the end of 2021. In reality there's a high chance that this bull run will end months before the halving and we'll have another bear market after it.

As for $42,000, this is possible, and even a higher price like $60,000 can happen somewhere around Q1 2020.

Yes, it is possible for Bitcoin to go as high as $420000 or any other figure one can imagine. There is no support to back up that value and it's improbable that it can rise that high in the space of five months.
In a span of time years to a decade, and with lots of falls in the contemporary financial institutions, Bitcoin could rise to replace it in many areas and lead to global adoption.

This sound completely make me mad at this stage. That appears to happen when everybody going to distraught purchase! This whole damn market is manipulated like crazy. However, I am constantly bullish with Bitcoin and it could do anything.

I also mad to those who are manipulating the price of the market but I just can't help my situation but to learn on how to ride with them. Despite of the dump in the past days, I still believe for the good price at the end of 2019. We still have the time, and yes bitcoin will still pursue higher prices which is going to be positive if the bull begin again.

I think the price won't stop at $10k only, but it will be much higher. the price had touched $14k before and it was a low price in my opinion, if investors did not do panic selling, of course it is very possible that prices would continue to rise some time ago. I think this year will range between $15k and above.But for $40k it's too high and excessive for me

The way the market looks like at this current moment i will say it cannot reach that price. Though many are still hoping for that price maybe it can after 5 to 10 years .

So many challenges this year but I know bitcoin will still not fail us, we don’t know yet the end price this year so better to stay positive. Many FUD are destroying the bitcoin price, but its good for bitcoin to hold within $9k-$10k, its still a high price for me.
