they will do an investigation to whose fault it is, they will check if they if it has access to other country and if you activated their security features, but if you did not activate the security features, it's your fault, it's very important to always activate the security feature, because hackers always targeted customers account on exchange.

Same thoughts here. It was only your account that has been hacked in the first place, right? So it is indeed your negligence. If only you have made extra precautions to secure your account, then your account won't be hacked. Am certain nobody is mindful of being hacked beside you. It is your misstep. You should be cautious in each activity that you make here in crypto. To maintain a strategic distance from this sort of issue you should keep your password,and your private keys or even your exchanges private and nobody must think about it with the exception of from you. Also, stay away from websites and links that are trying to pinch your email and passwords

In my opinion, most of the mistakes are in ourselves. Exchangers are a place to trade and are not a safe place to store coins and I think if we want to store coins safely, we can store them in our own wallet. As long as we do not hold the private key of the wallet, it is not our coin

That will be the exchange responsibility because they need to protect their member from the hacker or from the attacker that comes to their site. You should report it to the support system so they can investigate your account and they will check your log files to see who are login into your account. You also need to check on your computer if whether your computer is affected by the virus or trojan or malware that stealing your account data.

To make your account safe, you should follow all of the things that the exchanges suggest to their members, including to activate 2fa, email verification in login, and withdrawal. As long as you already activate everything, you don't have to worry, and the next thing will be the exchange job to secure their site.

When your account is hacked on exchange but no other account is shared, you will suffer that loss. This may be because you revealed your password or some other information that could cause a hacker to break into your account.
But if it is the fault of the trading system, you will be compensated.
But better yet, you should choose large exchanges to deposit your money. because they are always available to make up for your losses.

This is what happened to a friend of mine a couple of years back. He had his wallet stocked up with tokens worth around $20000 and it got hacked. This my friend was very careful about his online details but still got hacked. He also suspected that it must have been done by an employee of the exchange or wallet service. It was definitely and underground job. I advise if you hold over $3000 worth of tokens, just get a hardware wallet for it to avoid stories that touch like this

In a case where several accounts were also hacked in the exchange, then it is the fault of the exchange or site and they will be held responsible  for the hack because their security is weak but in the occasion where you are the only one affected, then it's definitely your fault, take precautionary measures next time.
