Very few and those that are at the top. The portion that it has on my portfolio isn't that much because I'm mostly holding bitcoin.

Why do cryptocurrency exchanges delist some altcoins?
  • Small volume
  • Useless altcoin
  • Turned into a scam

Beyond this there is a possibility of conflict of interest as a factor that can make a exchange delist or when the project team refuse to settle the exchange well after listing their coin. But delisting a coin do not mean the coin will die. I have seen delisted coins perform well on other exchanges.

The main reason why exchanges delete coins is because of thier low volume, those coin wont give any profit on the exchange so they delist it.

I'm holding bnb and eth at the moment, scared of most of these altcoins. When I saw cmc charts from 2013, I became very conscious of altcoins, some of these altcoins won't exist in few years time.

Whenever a coin is listed on an exchange, the developers or community responsible for its listing agree to some terms like average daily trading volumes and the like. In the eventuality that any of those terms are violated, the token/coin is delisted. Also a project that has been verified as a scam will be delisted.

True, but those are on just selective cases because usually most delisted coins are majorly have no volume or doesnt have much support even on other exchangers until it die.
Conflict on interest between exchange and owner of token is rarely to be seen but its still a tendency bu most of the time the coins being delisted doesnt have any volume and making it vacant for giving some slot into newer coins to get in.

It could be another reason, whatever the reason and conflict that lies between the dev and the exchange management that lead them to have miscommunication then they would be forced to delist it.

As for those coins that has turned to a scam, most of the exchanges that has that coin delisted it. I've seen a coin that has been delisted to all of its exchange where it has been listed so that factor is for real.

I'll mentioned that BSV coin is an instance the coin who have a conflict so as it was delisted on an exchange such as on binance, right?

But I'm still wondering the coin who caught as a scam coin but it was listed on the exchange, can you name one of them?

As far as I know if there is coin/token who have a fake team and end up with scam they won't ever to listed on the exchange. Their purpose only collected a money from such as an ICO, if the ICO has ended the coin won't be send by the team because they will run away before the ICO project ends.

Bitconnect as one of example. That coin got delisted from any of exchange and doesn't has any volume anymore.

That's mean the token didn't ever get listed before, and why should a site listed a token which turned to scam?

altcoin is missing from the exchange list for many factors,
the number of exchanges they do not reach the target the market has set until they are eliminated by the new altcoin,

that is definetly the the main reason on why alts are getting delisted on an online exchange  .  some exchanges are strict and will only give a minimum limit   ( not to low but slightly high ) once the coin reach this level for a long time , thats also the  time that they will decide to remove it  .   it sucks if your the coin owner but thats thier rules  . this is why most altcoins are migrating on a lesser strict exchange that aint really popular enough and mostly they are dex  .

from year to year coins and tokens often appear, where the level of movement and volume of trade is very low the coin will be removed from the list because it can not be profitable, that as far as I know

After knowing that Bitconnect is a scam, there are exchanges that didn't delisted it quickly. Some still let it be traded for sometime until the last exchange delisted it and that happened just last year.

BitConnect is getting delisted from the last cryptocurrency exchange that still trades it

It seems to me that this is a very correct approach to solve the problem of overcrowding of the cryptocurrency market with unpromising coins.  If the cryptocurrency market cannot carry out the correction itself, on the exchanges you have to exclude coins from circulation on your own.

It's not delisted yet but who knows, sometimes exchange site will delist any coin which having low volume. They will inform you though to withdraw your coin before the due of delist of that token.
