IEO is same like ICO the only difference being that IEOs are hosted on an exchange but the purpose of both of them remains the same that is the raising of the funds for project development so icos are like open fund raising campaigns while IEOs are hosted on a specific exchange platform where its members and investors can participate hassle free.

IEO is a token sale just like ICO but this time it is being launch on an exchange. Binance have launched several IEO's which were successful thus making this procedure a trend but seem's lately, many small exchanges follow the steps of Binance but failed as it did not reach it's set hardcap.

IEO stands for Initial Exchange Offering. Owing to the inefficiencies in ICOs (Initial Coin Offering) IEO was created as a better alternative and since then have being living up to expectations. Aside the answers that you will get here, there are several topics that has been covered on the subject matter and I think you should dig it out to know more about what you wish to know about, IEO projects was basically introduced by Binance exchange first after the industry was hit with lots of scammers that were using ICO to scam investors, and most investors started running from investing and seeing the method as not safe, so I think they came up with an initiative to see if they can verify some projects deeply before registering them on their exchange and then promoting them to the public as safe investment.

They do their due diligent to ensure such project is a very solid one. That is why everyone is beginning to see IEO as safe way to invest because of Binance, but I think you still need to do your own due diligence too before investing.

You might be new to crypto world but definitely not to Internet searches nor for youtube tutorials. Instead of asking such a question about IEO why not you could make your own research either in Google or in this forum. I suspect you must be asking this just for counting your posts.

I like to request all other forum members not to feed for the people who are finding themselves to lazy to go for their own searching for what they actually looking for before posting like this type of topics. Only due to this type of people some good boards are being marked as "spammer's heaven: by mods. I believe already we might be having hundreds of topics explaining what is IEO and how to safeguard ourselves while investing into IEOs.

is a different way to collecting money from the investors, basicly the purpose was same with ICO my friend
so, just like ICO, if you interesting to invest on any IEO project, you should Do your own research first before decide to invest

Very many people have told us what the IEO is. Maybe I want to add a little that you need to know about other investments like ICO or STO. So you can determine which investment is good.

But for your information , ICO is the worst and not worth to try. Except if the project is already well-known even before they run the ICO crowdfunding.
