I've never even heard of cryptocurrencytalk before.

On checking it it looks dead. The last thread on the first BTC page was last posted in on June 25th.

Bitco.in is more lively with a few refugees from here but still far too slow moving for my liking and it looks like it's attracting unmodded spam posts. Their wall observer is even more chartbuddy heavy than the darkest days of 2015 on here. From July 13th - 25th it's literally nothing but chartbuddy.

I assume bitcoin.com is filled with BCH sniping so have never bothered going there.

Refugees, Rejects, Dropouts, Excluded and Banned Smiley

There is also Beermoneyforum and Bitcoingraden, but I have not researched them at all.
Bitcointalk is best from all of them together.

I see that site you mentioned also asks for Bcash donations:

https://bitcointalk.org -> It is and it always will be "Numero Uno 👑"

Bitcoin forum created by Satoshi Nakamoto. Can you do something more spectacular? Smiley

I thought that the two sites mentioned in the OP rang a bell. I looked at them (briefly) when someone opened a thread on Beginners & Help suggesting some alternative crypto forums (which turned out as expected rather inferior in activity and content, although some sections seemed interesting like the video section in cryptocurrencytalk.com or the guides in mastersofcrypto.com).

I really can’t be bothered with other Crypto Forums unless a pretty good reason crops up to ponder them over Bitcointalk. Even so, I’ve taken a quick glimpse at the list (so my first impressions may be wrong):

Bitalk.org                             -> Seems to be Russian only.
Bitcoin.com                          -> Not too active (not bad UI).
litecointalk.io                        -> Not really interested in a Litecoin specific forum + rather inactive.
cryptocurrencytalk.com         -> Rather innactive on substantial threads (I like the video section).
bitcoingarden.org/forum/      -> Very similar UI (SMF). Structure a bit weird, and 24K members only.
bitcoinforum.com                 -> Also very similar UI (SMF). Not very active, and just under 18K members only.
allcryptotalk.com                  -> Not many boards not activity.
cryptorum.com/forums/        -> Very weak in terms of boards and content.
talk.peercoin.net                  -> Specific to peercoin
mastersofcrypto.com/forum/ -> I like the guides .. but nothing else (+ barely any activity).

So, in summary, none of the above come even close to Bitcointalk neither in terms of content nor, very likely, prestige and history of its members.

it's a well known fact, bitcointalk is the world's largest cryptocurrency forum and none other compares to it.
Yeah, and we all know why that is, right?  It's because of signature campaigns and bounties, which I assume the other forums OP listed don't have.  Even if bitcoin is going to the moon, there's only so much that can be said about it at any given time--unless you're motivated by money to talk about something.  I joined the Dash forum a while back, and I found it to be pretty dead even though Dash's price was doing just fine.

Bitcoin forum created by Satoshi Nakamoto. Can you do something more spectacular? Smiley
That would actually be reason #2 in my mind why bitcointalk beats all other crypto forums.  This is kind of where it all began...but I still think it's the bounties and everything else that keeps the traffic coming, not loyalty to Satoshi.

I agree with all your wrote previously.
But we can always work on improving some small stuff like:

- members voting and propositions for forum changes
- dark theme alternative
- more focus on growing Local sections
- restricting Newbies access to some sections of forum
- upgrading Merit system
- rewards for member who promote Bitcoin

PS
I also want to say thank you Satoshi and Theymos,
for creating Bitcoin and Bitcointalk forum.
It changed my life drastically!

One topic has half of all the posts of the entire forum. Also when you have a user posting nearly 10% of all the messages on the board, common....

There is also Beermoneyforum

731 pages of topics in the HYIP section...wow!!!

This is kind of where it all began...but I still think it's the bounties and everything else that keeps the traffic coming, not loyalty to Satoshi.

Sad but true, the Altcoin board if by far the most active one, even without bumping bots is by far the most visited these days and not even counting the altcoin boards in the local sections. Please, where bounty sir ?!?

So this is where cypherdoc ended up  Roll Eyes

There's another Russian Bitcoin forum, https://forum.bits.media/, and it's way more active.

Russia has a big Bitcoin community, and other than Bitcointalk forum
I know of few other forums related to Bitcoin and Crypto.
