Shocked GRIMM. NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW  Shocked

EITHER HELP US, OR GET OUT OF OUR WAY. Cool

WEBSITE  |  MANIFESTO  |  GITHUB  |  TWITTER  | TELEGRAM  |  BLOG |  DISCORD

We see existing conditions and systems of control, not governed by logic or reason but by greed, corporatism, subversion, bureaucracy, censorship, and inefficiency. We have a strong distrust for inherently flawed and corrupt systems. Our value transparency, free speech, privacy, and real decentralization.

We designed Grimm so that it doesn’t depend on any one person. We don’t control it. Not financially. Not physically. How can decentralized work if only founders or entities controls the system? They accumulate taxes, head the richest lists in their projects, or play an unfair game with an unlimited extra coin emission. Grimm is a classic fork of Beam with other consensus rules, open source, without founders rewards, ico, premine and other commercial shit. Privacy and scalability - two most prominent problems challenges bedeviling the existing Blockchain ecosystem today. So we chose the Mimblewimble protocol, which has fully addressed these problems initially. We are not in favour of mix decentralized projects with a commercial semblance of decentralization. Grimm's got a different, absolutely decentralized way.

NO FOUNDER REWARDS, NO FEES, All block rewards go directly to the miners. NO ICO. NO STO. NO IEO. NO PREMINE.
FULLY DECENTRALIZED. COMMUNITY TECH. PERSONAL ALGORITHM "GrimmPOW" (Based Equihash_150_5).
FAST TRANSACTIONS. NO NICEHASH. NO ASICS.

Grimm network does not store transaction history and addresses. You can create an address, receive an amount and delete the address. No one will ever know.

GRIMM SPEC.
  • Protocol / MimbleWimble
  • Language / C++
  • Consensus / PoW
  • PoW Algorithm / GrimmPOW Equihash 150_5
  • Mining / From Wallet (no longer effective, the diff is high) and on Pools
  • Emission / Deflationary
  • Block Reward / 100 GRIMM, Rewards halving after 1 year and then halvings every 4 years 33 times in total. All mining
rewards go directly to the miners.
  • Max Supply / 262.8M]
  • Governance / Community
  • Blocktime / 60 sec
  • Block size / 2 Mb
  • Speed / 34 tps
  • Transaction fees / 0
  • Smallest unit / CENTUM (0.00000001 GRIMM)

Features

Two-click mining
The simplest wallet with built-in GPU and CPU mining capabilities. No need to be a geek. Easy-peasy, fresh and squeezy.

Financial freedom
No founders TAX. All mining rewards go directly to the miners. No ICO, STO, IEO, Premine. No transaction fees.

Modularity
Grimm is based on Baldwin and Clark’s concept of modularity: Breaking a technology or process into functionally relevant components facilitates innovation. Modularity (3dparty modules) is a technique used in software development. It breaks a complex technological project into a number of functionally relevant components — integrated in core where is called for, and individually designed where differentiation is needed. In a Grimm structure, modules, can easily be addaed or swapped out, upgraded, and adapted in different ways for different systems. Modularity makes it easier to the co-development of the project by our community members, who will proudly be known as "Grimmers".

Privacy
Grimm does away with the need for known coins amounts. Temporary addresses are not stored in the Blockchain. Transactions offer the highest level of security.

Scalability
Grimm grows with the number of users, and transactional data stored on the blockchain does not increase as nodes store only unused outputs and block headers. As a result, the weight of blockchain is reduced by several times.

Do you like pump and dump?

You guys must've forgotten the main point: "Cryptocurrency is a way to convey value from one person to another without a third party". It's not a commodity or a stock or a company, it is a method, a container, a protocol that people use to make purchases between themselves. Centralized exchanges it's third party, that focused on personal gain. Full access to your money. Pressure regulators. Hacking capability. Influence on the market. Artificial volatility. Manipulation. Listing. Delisting. Relisting. Users don't know what they're buying. We do not need another shitty bonds (CDO's). We want to create an active community that fully endorsed the Grimm's ideas. But if you looking for a coin for another pump and dump, and speculation is your profit.. Then get the f*ck out from our community. You don't deserve a Grimm.

I do like website, but total supply is a bit high for me.

I have two questions:
1.Do you have any official Discord channel for GRIMM coin?
2. What is the difference compared with other MimbleWimble coins?

This project looks great. Unfortunately I cannot GPU mine with a 1070 within the wallet, as it says 'you have unsupported videocard'.

1. Today only telegram, Discord in few days
2.  Grimm is a classic fork of Beam, open source, without founders rewards, ico, premine and other commercial shit. No transaction fees.  language C++ (easy to co-development of the project by our community members). Modularity (3dparty modules) is a technique used in software development. In a Grimm structure, modules, can easily be addaed or swapped out, upgraded, and adapted in different ways for different systems. Block size 2Mb. Build in GPU and CPU mining at UI wallet. Simple wallet. Speed 34 tps. Emission deflationary. Grimm has collected the best and is focused on the development of technology. Not Commerce.

Windows 10. Drivers are all up to date. Not sure why I am having this issue, as I used the same machine to mine BEAM before...

Are you planning on dedicated mining client or will you encourage other client devs to add the support for GRIMM? Or can already be mined with any Equihash(150,5) capable miner?

Thanks
