Gambling habits that will cost you

Those that have been gambling for a long time will agree with some of these bad habits (if I may call them this) which I have found to have a negative effect on our gambling experience.

1. Cancelling a withdraw because the sportsbook takes long to process it or because you saw a game you think will bring easy profit, stop right here.. my advice don't even think about cancelling this it's a trap that will leave you with no money to withdraw.

2. Don't gamble while you are intoxicated, for obvious reasons judgement is impaired and you will be reckless with how you play.

3. Never gamble with money that isn't yours, this includes taking out loans for the purpose of gambling  because this always ends in you losing all the sourced funds and will result in putting yourself in bad books with friends and family.

4. Avoid accumulators, sometimes these are good but if you in it for the money avoid them! I know many will say if you don't risk it you won't win or say something like "go big or go home" but honestly think about it , you place an accumulator with 3 games and 2 games with big odds of 5 and 7 odds go through and you are left with the multiplier of 1.2 odds which goes on to lose I guess you get my logic

5. Avoid gambling when you are angry or feeling emotional about something or someone, this too affects your game. If it helps talk or see someone before you do something you will regret.

Even when you have big volume of funds in the wallet play with a little amount. Don't go for a big fund on a single game. By this time most users will think of the profit, they never look upon the loss. Good is to set a limit for every game unlike winning or losing.

6. Don't ever commit the mistake of thinking that you can get back at the house for your loss.

For so many times I have made the decision to come back later or the following day to exact my revenge on the house for taking my money away. Little did I know that in so doing the house has already got the better of me the second time around.

I would like to add not knowing how and when to quit, you are winning and you want to extend your winning because you think it's your lucky day until bad luck caught you, you are losing and you still have funds available and you want to gain what you've lost because you think you can until you run out of money.

You are absolutely right on this one mate, those gamblers who do this they didn't noticed that greediness little by little coming to their mind.
Where in the end like what you said they will run out of money and then their realization will be too late for them.

One of the effect or the bad result playing gambling is greedy and gambler want to get quick rich.

Greediness will always come to gamblers, especially for gamblers who can win more and more. They will still play gambling until they don't have any money, but in the end, they only regret what they've done before. But that's too late to realize because they now don't have any money. Gamblers will get more effect if they cannot control themselves in gambling games, and they will get a more negative impact by playing gambling for a long time. No matter what, gambling will cost much money than we can realize.

I am short tempered and whenever I lost big I bet all the remaining money, I don't know why but maybe when we are angry or somehow frustrated we make decisions that after the game only we have realized. Well that was in the past, now if I win a little I stop and think twice if continuing is still benefiting me. I think old habits of mine are gone because of some tips like this around, and I learned to set goals.

Being impulsive  won't do much help. There's a huge chance that you will lose bigger until you have nothing left. I think it's really important that in gambling, or any other aspects, we should not let our emotions get ahead of us. Thinking twice or more before making a decision won't do us harm. And the good thing is, you have already overcome such attitude. I hope others will also be able to overcome theirs before it's too late.

there are methods that works but they only work for a limited period of time because casinos will dried out if ever there is an ultimate method that a gambler can use and cannot loose anymore. methods can help you earn more if you know how to use them properly .

Method/strategy works when you are lucky only not based on some period of time. Even if you know how to use it properly, the result will always based on your luck. Knowing how to use the method properly does not affect the result especially if you are playing luck based gambling games.

* Dont gamble when you are not ready to lose the money. I can say that this is the most important thing for gamblers or anyone who want to start gambling for the first time.

Exactly, gambling habits very costly for us, we know that gambling is risky then we should pay it by cost. So better to quit it and if we wanna play it, then take the risk with your own risk. Otherwise we should be ready for loss.

Acceptance is very important for every gambler, and if you're lossing too much from your lucky bets don't be emotional. That your choice so be responsible for whatever it costs you a lot of money. Think of many ways on how to recover your loss, and once you're able to acquire certain idea! that's the time you start your process of recovery.

Just keep the things simple,when you want to gamble then you need to spend money for it which means it will cost you.So how long you are gambling is going to decide how much it will cost you.If you aim win never hit you then you will probably lose less than chasing losses.

I think the number three here is not just a post nor gamblers but a general advise and that is why I picked it up. You don't gamble or use up money kept in your custody with the hope to replace it back because you might not succeed in doing that and the owner might come for it just immediately you have used it.

In short they are taking it too seriously and trying to make it as a source of income.In the end they do put themselves into a big trouble.

Too hasty and not care about finances can also cause someone to use money unwise. I prefer to think about the consequences and manage finances before everything just disappears. because basically. the excitement of gambling is like adrenaile clashing with mind.

Gamble only if you have spare money to spend and for entertainment to avoid any pressure while playing and if in case you will lose then you will not be affected so much because it's just your spare money. Also don't try think of being lucky because it won't help a thing.

True, because if you are gambler you know it already if what will ever happens. You need to train yourself of feelings, whenever when you lose. So it needs to find out if how to get success in gambling, dont give up just accept your mistakes and learn how to do the best.

To be a gambler is to be an opportunist. This is because you wait for the best opportunity to cash out the max possible dollars you can. If you have the experience, you are very likely to counter such opportunities but the lack of experience and still participating in such ventures is pretty risky and this is what makes gamblers’ pockets empty.

Having an experience wont still give you an assurance for you to avoid these kind of circumstances even on the old gamblers out there they do still experience such bad decisions towards gambling.Getting out and maximizing as big as possible?it wont be that easy anytime if you tend to do so.Bad habits should be eliminated if you do like for your life not to be mainly affected big with gambling.

How if I'm a type of gambler who use gambling to refresh my mind from boredom, anger, or any other emotional feeling? In fact, I can use gambling as a way to forget my anger or any other bad feelings because I use gambling for entertainment. As long as I stay on my own limit, so I wont really care about the result. I dont think that our feeling will affect our game, feeling does affect our decision only but it does not affect the game as the result always based on our own luck.

Kamling will not leave you to sleep happily because it will makes you to be more interested and also involved in it but I think ok it will depends upon the mindset of a gambler if they are getting so much controlled. Investing and gambling is quite similar as both are risky and most of the investors not necessarily a gambler but they knows how to gamble.
When you are gambling and you can stay discipline, that's a good sign that you will have a better future in investing as well, that's just my own theory based on my experience as I started learning how to gamble first before I learn to invest in crypto.

It is an addiction you mean...meanly people get addicted because they win at first and trying to win again which is a very common reason why they should come back in gambling. Do we think that they could control such feelings? I think not, cause they are totally controlled by their mind and it could just stop once they open up their minds again.
