Gambling habits that will cost you

From my experience the habit that always costs me with a big loss is the lack of emotional control that makes me go for higher rolls when I experience losses. Importantly I never realize the right point to stop. When I experience loss I could make myself stop and cash it out. My mind never does it, and this way I've lost big. This is one of the mistake that gamblers do very commonly.

- When you win, don't bet bigger. stabilize the situation or play at a minimum. This is usually very good to do.

I don't know if this has been added or not, but it's really effective to do when you win. Don't add a bigger number with an even bigger winning goal. It will make you lose and you lose the amount that won before.

I disagreed on this one mate because luck don’t stay long in our part so better make it fast before it’s gone and losses cover your gaming
I had experience this when I was still into gambling constantly and upon this I’ve learn that better to bet bigger then leave than smaller bettings but you will stay longer because the more you bet the more chances that house will beat you

Probably main one is addiction.

Another one that is probably worst is that gamblers aren't only a danger to themselves but to people who are close to them family and friends. Off course as with all addictions, the severity of the problem varies from person to person, and there's no set pattern for when addicts gamble or the medium they use. But this draws another question. What is the causes of this.

Many factors can contribute to a gambling addiction, in my humble opinion this is desperation for money, why is this cuz most see this as easy way to get money, but some enjoy in this in other way, on this I mean they like to experience thrills and highs, the social status associated with being a successful gambler, and the entertaining atmosphere of the mainstream gambling scene.

How the bad side. Unfortunately, once a gambling addiction takes hold, breaking the cycle is difficult (lately in any google search gambling is consider addiction). Severe addictions can take hold when someone feels desperate financially and wants to make back what they have lost. First and most importantly is this move when addiction gambles will try anything to gain what have lost. Once the person finally wins, while they may end up collecting a massive amount of money from that win, it is rarely enough to cover what has already been lost. Most gamblers never even come close to breaking even, sadly this is true, that why we all know this line from day life or movies "HOUSE ALWAYS WINS".

Gambling with friends who be my pick. I notice each time I go gambling with my friends I always end up getting pressured to go above my maximum gambling capital limit. Sometimes I won't be aware this has happened until the next day other times I just play along because I would look like the odd one if I try opposing their suggestion. I had this having since high school, Although the habbit isn't a part of me anymore.

That is a bad habit, you should not force yourself to continue to gamble until more than what you have, because it does not matter if you look strange if you choose the right path. Someone will definitely change someday and your friends won't be forever with you, so make your own way and don't let the gambling habit continue to spend your money and put your life in misery.

in my opinion, these two things are a big problem for gamblers... I once bet in a state of anger because I can not claim my car insurance that had an accident, as a result, I experienced some loss because I was unable to think clearly, focus and make the right decision.

Throw out the problem and think positively before gambling is the key to making a decision in betting.

Set budget solves the bet bigger problem, this advice to all risk taking both gambling and also speculative bets in arenas such as finance or perhaps even real life costs.   Having a written down project plan will save so much time and expense vs just winging it, as most of us arent disciplined to have set definitions in our head it really does make a difference to even jot down a quick journal note of how much is on the budget today.   Not being able to keep in budget at least lets you know your frame of mind is not controlled or disciplined in that moment and the risks are controlling you instead of vice versa.
   If I could pass on one good piece of advice it would be to plan the exit to a bet when starting or setting up the game initially, it gives you a vision of the whole playing field and the possible plus or negative to this risk.

Yes, because no one wants to see the loss of the money so they will avoid gambling if they can.

not all . some dont care at all if they win or loose but whats important for them is that they can play thier favorite gambling in order to hang out and past the time  . some avoid gamble not because they are afraid to loose but because gambling is a sin to their religion .  there also those who avoid gambling because gambling is restricted on thier area .  they can be fine or sentence to prison if they will be caught on hand playing gambling .

I see that is happening with my friends when he plays with the texas hold'em on Facebook. He doesn't care about how long he plays, how many chips he uses. He really enjoys his time in front of his computer and spends his time without doing anything. In one side, he loses his time and his chips, and on the other side, he doesn't have another activity in his life. I mean he is not work in his daily life, but he has a part-time job as web design.

Going gambling with your friends(who are gamblers too) is, indeed, a bad habit that will cost you. Usually gamblers encourage each other with words like: "Go, go!", "Don't give up! You can do it!" and such. I can see it in chat boxes of gambling sites too, but, playing online, you can disable chat whenever you want, while you can't mute your friends when you are in a land based casino. When you are losing it is hard to stop even with nobody around, but it is much harder with your friends pushing you to continue.

You did the right thing when discontinued that habit.

Agree that because when you win, many players will start to dare to play without rules and control because they are very confident with the win they get and
think that they can profit and win more. that is precisely what will bring them to great loss and that is what is called bad habits in gambling.
