No shitposts yet acc get banned

Theymos is a moderator i guess,i opened my bitcointalk account and find out its been banned by him.
Can i atleast know the reason for the banned?because i dont do shit posts,the link to my account is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2649118

It would have been great if this forum can tell users the reason of banned on their profile or atleast let users defend themselves without the need to create new acc to complain.

First, move your ban appeal in meta.

Second, this is actually the same as here, not showing it’s banned in BPIP.

You're probably right, but who knows.  What I do know is that members don't get banned for shitposting in general.  You have to be a chronic spammer to warrant a ban, and I don't think those get handed out all that much.

I don't find it strange that his first post was related to bounties.  That's the reason why most new members register here--I'm fairly sure of that, and you're also probably correct that the banned account is an alt of someone.  We'll see what the mods have to say if they check this thread out and chime in.  It was probably ban evasion or plagiarism of some sort.

So I did a Google search on your account, and the last time your profile was crawled and cached by Google, you had 34 posts and 28 activity.

And now, your account only has 12 posts and 12 activity, so it looks like a lot of your posts(more than half) got deleted.

So, it's most likely due to one of these:

• You spam, a lot
• You post scammy links
• You committed plagiarism
• and last but not the least.. *drumroll* ..shit posts

bpip still shows he has 35 posts so his posts must have been deleted today at some point.
And according to the modlog the OP is not banned. Maybe it is a temporary ban or he just lost access to his account!

I’ve been going through many of your deleted posts using Google search engine + Google Cache, but I have not been able to find any post with clear plagiarism, which very often is the cause for being banned. The content was not of a shitposting nature either as far as I can tell.

Some complete threads have been delete too in which you were the OP, such as:

Can you post the exact message you got asserting that you have been banned? (there’s no modlog reference either, as indicated by @Pmalek).

Ok, so from the message you received there is no doubt you are banned (and not locked-out of the account). As I said, I took some time to try to find your deleted posts un google+google cache, but was not able to come across a plagiarized post. Of course google cache holds content at a certain moment in time, and there is no trace of changes to the posts. I did not find all the deleted posts either on the google cache.

It’s quite a cumbersome task, that deemed no results. Ideally, a mod could check the reports to give you the exact post that caused your ban and the reason (plagiarism, ban evasion, etc.).

As the pic says it could be a shit post (spam) or plagiarism, so even if that is not a shit post but plagiarism is a big offense and that is entitled for perma ban. OP can make an appeal but with evidence of plagiarism that would not revert the ban.

Maybe he's having such mindset of recent (shitpost) that why he's been banned (lols). Not posting shitpost doesn't mean if you spam or plagiarised you won't be banned. Maybe you've somehow spam or plagiarised cos you can't be banned without evidence of such..
