you wouldnt know if there would be some lucky punch would able to hit you.Even you do know your capability is much better than the other

Maybe Anthony Joshua was over confident that he can just blow away Andy Ruiz. And another factor I've seen for his lost though is that Ruiz is not his original opponent, it's Jarrell Miller. So he might not be pump or psyched for Andy Ruiz prior to the fight that's why his mind is not on this guy but the next fighter in line (Wilder). Anyway, there are no excuses, it's time for Joshua to get back in track and he is still the favourite to win despite the "infamous" upset.

Past is past and cant be changed no matter what would be the reasons behind that loss or on what Joshua is thinking those times it doesn't really matter that much because he had been defeated.If he's thinking way ahead on upcoming big fights from those strong opponents then he musnt get too easy into those boxers that he would fight up along the way because underestimating someone could really mess up your record unexpectedly and that's why we do really see some upset or unexpected fight results.

Well, technically a single punch did change the tune of the fight. As soon as AJ got that punch to his temple after knocking down Ruiz, he wasn't the same from then on.

But Ruiz did his job, he was all over him after wobbling him, and didn't give AJ even a second to breath.

Now that we know that Ruiz has that killer instinct, we can see that he's going to capitalize on any mistakes AJ makes in the rematch. This is a real 50/50 fight, but I'm still slightly edging toward AJ redeeming himself.

I am not sure he was underestimating Andy Ruiz, Anthony Joshua was making his US debut and everyone still thinks that he was underestimating someone to have an impact, Andy Ruiz was too fast and skillful and Joshua did not have an answer for that and so is the reason he quit after being knocked down multiple times, he will be better prepared and have a game plan and so does Andy Ruiz  .

Indeed, he must dash in - punch - dash out since he has a long reach. Staying close to a shorter opponent is a bad move so I think he what he can do in certain instances is to clinch. It sounds being p*ssy but that was a clean strategy after all .

After watching their first fight I am very convinced that Joshua will have a hard time against Ruiz, it's not a lucky punch it's more of total domination, before the fight I am not interested to watch and just want the outcome after seeing Ruiz, but after he surprised all of us, everything changes just like that.

Cant deny with that psychological effect on Joshua but for sure he do already overcome and do realize it but if not then that would be a big problem.
I cant see for Ruiz to win up this match up though but still not a good thing to be confident about because 2nd time beat up would really still happen.
