Never heard of it but thanks for sharing. It doesn't make sense though, and I far as I can remember they have a rematch clause but $75 million is too big imho. Yes, AJ is still the A-side of the fight although he lost the first match, but personally I'm not seeing and not buying this $75 million pay check. Even Fury and Wilder wouldn't get that money right now. The fact is that I myself was surprised by the statement of Jarrell Miller, where he mentions the amount of $ 75 million. If we talked about a smaller amount, then we could have believed. But in my opinion this is not the level of battle and fighters where such large amounts appear. I would very carefully study this question, where is the truth and where are the vines in order to more accurately predict the results of the battle.

I’m really looking forward to this fight, I expect & hope that Joshua will avenge his surprise defeat from the first bout. Ruiz caught a complacent Joshua, I don’t think AJ will make the same mistakes again.
Looking at the odds, it's obvious that the odd makers will see Joshua as the winner, even though Ruiz defeated him in the first fight. Could be Joshua is over confident and complacent that he can defeat Ruiz easily and look for the next fight and that his mistakes. But I think this is going to be an exciting fight, Ruiz is really vent on proving that his win is for real and not a fluke as Joshua's camp is trying to portray. Andy Ruiz wants to prove, however, Anthony Joshua might have also trained harder to disprove. I am waiting for the millions of Mexicans to bet on their fighter to improve Joshua's odds hehehe. I'm sure of that, lol, Mexicans are very proud of their boxers so I have no doubt that they are going to pour it end when the fight gets closer. The burden of proof is on Joshua right now, let's see if he can prove that he still has it.

@Baofeng. He will disprove the Mexican. Andy's new tacoless diet might be a mistake hehe. He might be faster, however, he might lose some of his power.
He might also faint because of hunger hehehe.

He might also faint because of hunger hehehe.
That will not happen, he has a trainer and a coach who knows what they are doing, and this is a big fight so they are preparing for this just like his opponent is doing to take the belt from him. Surely this is a fun fight to watch, lets just hope it will last longer before anyone will be knock out.

I also think so, both camps have been preparing well for the brawl, and it would surely get more media attention that the first match (where almost everyone expected an easy win for Joshua) Another loss for Joshua this year would be a disaster for his career, and take him further down in the pecking order for the title, most of the pressure rests on him. Andy is still considered to be the underdog, and this could again work in his favour.

That's true, I think if Andy is really confident on winning this fight, he has a decent odds then he should bet on himself. These 2 giants will prove to us that once again they will deliver a good fight, it doesn't matter to me who will win as long as they will once again entertain us. However, since we are also gambler, its impossible to watch this fight without putting our bet. I hope you guys already put your bet before the line moves to be not on your favor.

Tacoless diet, you got me there lmao. I agree but if the weight he is aiming still meets the required weight then I don't see anything to worry about. Maybe Team Ruiz got a new strategy to cope the size disadvantage. Surely this is a fun fight to watch, lets just hope it will last longer before anyone will be knock out.
I do hope also. I'm no longer entertained by one hit KOs. Yeah there was a sudden hype which you can feel but I now prefer more of a "last man standing" kind of fight because it's more entertaining. However, speaking about heavyweights, short term fights usually happen since they are all hard punchers .

Yeah, we cannot erase that possibility that a knock out could be possible in this fight since both fighters are eager to trained and we can say that they are well prepared for this fight. And according to my book, Joshua has 1.84 odds if he will win by KO and 3.65 for Ruiz if won the same. sportsbook are telling us what the people are thinking about this fight, but it does not usually mean they are right all the time.

The odds are very different if the market is more likely to choose Joshua to win I will still choose Ruiz to win. but I'm a little curious, why the market prefers AJ over Andy? whereas in the first match Ruiz performed quite well and won.

As a fighter Andy Ruiz cannot wage a bet on a match he is involved in and if he does he will get into trouble and probably land in jail . However, since we are also gambler, its impossible to watch this fight without putting our bet. I hope you guys already put your bet before the line moves to be not on your favor.
I like the odds for Andy Ruiz and i will be wagging for him even though he trimmed down and it all depends upon how Anthony Joshua can learn from his mistakes and come back stronger.

If he is dieting like this he might go down to light heavyweight and become a double champion if he is able to defeat Anthony Joshua once again. The media just poked his ego about him so fat and that made him force to diet and become a model , if he gets defeated now he will start eating again and call out for a trilogy and it all depends how much money they will be making in their second fight .

Lol, I think you know that sports science has evolved already, he may have to eat vegetables tacos made of veggies. Sharing you an opinion of out of Britain's ex-heavyweight champion as well: joshua-andy-ruiz-fight (102)
Now, former heavyweight champion David Haye has given his thoughts on the rematch and the 39-year-old is worried about the psychological effects the first loss may have on Joshua.
Speaking to The Times, he said: "Boxers talk about flashbacks and we will not know the impact of that defeat until Anthony Joshua gets hit on the chin by Ruiz.
“He might well revert back to how he felt in that first fight.
"That first big shot might buckle the knees and all the hype and all the training goes out of the window.”
"If he loses twice to a guy that not many believe is the best in the division we are talking lots of tough fights even to get back into contention.
“He needs to win conclusively. Ruiz has proved you can’t judge a book by its cover, but sometimes a fighter gets that first big pay-cheque and they lose the eye of the tiger. https://www.boxingscene.com/haye-we-know-impact-loss-ruiz-hits-joshua-on-chin--144222Totally agree with Haye here, that's why I said that the burden of proof is with Joshua here, he really needs to win and win it convincingly and conclusively other wise it will just pop more questions on his boxing skills and his heart to be with the likes of Wilder and Fury.

Lol, I think its likely to happen because that diet was not effective on this rematch. He beat Joshua at his original built so let's see if his new built now would help him to win the rematch, otherwise its just a waste of time and effort. I'm really counting that this could be a better fight compared to the first. A trilogy would be nice too, but I have a feeling Joshua will again suffer a loss for the 2nd time, the public would not agree but me and Ruiz will prove them wrong. haha.

I also think Andy Ruiz will destroy AJ again. Eddeh mentioned AJ will be ready in this rematch, well prepared and is sparring with small fat and chubby boxers. They forgot Ruiz is not chubby anymore. A possible bad scenario for Ruiz here is the way he lost a lot of weight in this rematch. His power, endurance, strength and durability might be affected. A third match is definitely out of my mind. There was difficulty making this rematch. An AJ victory means Eddeh will not be giving a single inch on Ruiz camp to dictate the terms of a possible 3rd fight.

A power puncher will always remain a power puncher in whatever weight they have, one example of this is Manny Pacquiao, he carries his power from flyweight to welterweight, even if Ruiz, don't have those fat, he will still carry those power in his punches, his handlers thinks that he needs to be more light so they can get into Joshua much faster.

The action to lose weight was part of he strategy and the team Ruiz are thinking it will favor him, they saw some weakness on him in the first fight so they want to correct that because I am sure they are after of a very convincing win this time around.

Nah. Manny Pacquiao is a different case, that is why he is the only 8 division champion in boxing history. But there is a difference mate. Manny Pacquiao scoring knockouts are things in the past when he was at the lower divisions. Manny Pacquiao only scored three knockouts out of his thirteen wins at welterweight. I read an article many years ago. It was a scientific research on boxers and their fats. There was a certain fats percentage where most boxers are successful. Of course too much fat in the body is not good too. But it is proven that most fighters with very little fats in the body and are heavy muscled tend to tire faster. Their arms will become heavy in the later rounds, and the effect of their power punches are not that lethal anymore. And these heavily muscled fighters prime years are shorter. With Andy Ruiz losing weight, i think it will favor AJ. Ruiz won the title with that beer-belly bottom and he is used to it for a long time, then why changed it when it ain't broke.

I agree that Ruiz needs to cut some weight. But it is also a possibility that losing too much weight is not good for him. We will know the answer come fight night.

What is there to be underwhelmed about? It's an incomplete stadium, I doubt it is anywhere near complete yet. There is still almost a month to go until the fight, and it doesn't actually take that long to build a stadium. Either way, the capacity of the stadium isn't as large as Wembly or MSG, but there is a large number of Saudi's that are looking to experience the thrill of boxing and are willing to put the money up to built an entire stadium for it. Let's not complain until after we see the final product.
