People still treat him as an underdog after those brutal punch that left Joshua exposed as a coward who gives up all his title because he cannot keep up with those heavy and quick punches, let's see now if he has a solution to those heavy and quick punch
Have you seen this fight? no, Joshua didn't gave up, it was the ref who stop the fight .

You can see one of the highlights here  Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr. Full Fight Highlights HD

These fighters are really tall,.. 6"2 vs 6"6.  Grin

Lol, there's no chance Andy Ruiz is 6'2. I was at one of the MSG press conferences for the first fight, he's probably around 5'11 at best.

I'm 6'1 and I definitely had a couple inches at LEAST on Ruiz. AJ is an absolute monster though, definitely just as tall as he looks against Ruiz. Absolute beast.

Still, the fight will probably go the same way, because AJ doesn't seem to understand that the clinch is part of a tall fighters key tools.

He is 6ft according to https://www.celebheights.com/s/Andy-Ruiz-Jr-51924.html..
But, AJ is not only the tall boxer in the heaviweight division, there are also taller which are popular,

Tyson Fury 6′ 9″

Deontay Wilder 6′ 7″...

When these two fought, Fury was smart to use his  advantage to box Wilder and hopefully AJ would do the same to Ruiz as he has a clear advantage.

DarkDays is right that Joshua has to learn to clinch. That is one hell of an effective strategy especially in the heavyweight division, not just for taller fighters. Call it boring and cowardly but when the situation calls for it, you better clinch rather than just play the role of a punching bag. Joshua will have to jab, straight, clinch to the huggable panda to avoid his counter punches.  Grin

It's amazing to see these two fighters not trash talking, all they have to say in the press are the game plan for the upcoming fight.

Ruiz said he is ready if Joshua will use the bicycle, but not heard on the interview if he is ready for the hug  Smiley. Surely, AJ needed to use that clinch as that is a very useful strategy that is being used by many champions like Bernard Hopkins  Smiley.

Anthony Joshua got already the highest title in the sports, and for being a sports star, he also entered the Olympics in London and won the best heavyweight. Still, not all the time the stars stay at the top time comes there's a challenger wants to conquer the sports and Andy Ruiz comes and beat up the legendary champion, by this rivals the people caught their attention because of too much excitement on their every game.

That's a hell of a fight, but I would go with Fury if that will happen, beating wilder is such a big success already and we know Fury knows how to score, he can use his speed and his height to consistently hurt an opponent. Let's just watch what would really happen to this fight, and then we can make speculation like that.

Both fury and Ruiz are underdog against their respective opponent but if its their time, nothing can stop them.

Fury is not the underdog in his forthcoming rematch with Wilder. The tide has turned to his favor, at least as far as the odds-makers are concerned. He is the favorite in this rematch unlike when they first met more than a year ago.

But first things first, everyone's excited to see the Ruiz-Joshua II in a few days from now. I've already placed my bet for Ruiz.

I will make my prediction once the fight will be near, it gives some insights that both fighters will be preparing for it and have enough time to make it perfectly shaped.
It for sure Joshua will push himself to the limit and reclaims his championship but how about Ruiz? There is something to prove also and it gonna be a big big fight for them. I've never thought that it never reaches into 12 rounds.

If the first fight ended in a decision then we can expect anyone of the fighter can dominate the other one, but Joshua give up on this fight, he is totally outclassed, out punch and it's almost like a no match, he has no answer to Ruiz punch we still don't know how his team is going to counter Ruiz, but one thing is for sure, he can't take Ruiz punch while Ruiz can take his punch.
Anthony Joshua's over-confidence may have cost him that fight. Who would have think that a fighter with beer belly would knock out him. We can't predict on who will win this fight but i think the challenger here had a big chance since he have to prove to everybody that the loss that he have is just a fluke and not because he is being outclassed.

Being humble is very important, it will help you dominate your opponent. Keep your mouth shut until you perform your deadly skills, let them talk and destroy him after. Control you emotions and focus on the fight. If AJ does that then he can execute his punches quickly.

Fighters are trained to become well-disciplined, focus and determined. Well in fact, he is not focused about the fight, he didn't take Ruiz seriously. That's the problem.

So in this rematch, it is very hard to predict who will win this time. Ruiz got the momentum, but Anthony Joshua got his revenge and is determined to get the belt.

You are right, odds are  Deontay Wilder +105 / Tyson Fury -125

Based on  : https://www.oddsshark.com/boxing/boxing-deontay-wilder-vs-tyson-fury-ii-odds-and-prediction

But odds not yet available in crypto sportsbook.

Rofl.  But here's the thing...  He was KO'd and he wasn't even winning the bout (no excuse for losing cos of a 'lucky punch' Grin).  I'm pretty sure it's gonna be in his head coming into the ring.  I mean I'm not really into boxing but I think Ruiz got this.

AJ seems to have shifted to some drama here. Fighters do not have to explain off their chest, and even create a dramatic anticipation around it, why they got defeated, even KOed in AJ's case; fighters clarify everything with their punches. He needs to work hard and put Ruiz down come rematch time. That or he better keep what he's supposed to say in his chest forever. Whatever explanations, valid or not, raised by a defeated fighter will only appear as a cheap excuse or alibi more often than not. Real fighters just say "no excuses, I got KOed; I'll do better next time."

If Anthony Joshua looses this fight his spot as the best heavyweight is gone and to come back from the defeat is impossible and hence the amount of pressure he will be having in this rematch is immense and i hope that wont crumble him even before the fight as his fighting career is on the line and Andy Ruiz is not an easy opponent too, the main issue is with the height difference and Ruiz is really fast with his punches and combinations and if he cannot counter that he is in deep trouble yet again.

A defeat which is really hard to move on.Some say that he have lots of drama but we know that each person do have different perceptions into things. He cant just really believe that he lost and telling
one reason is acceptable but if he do only keeps repeating then it do already shows that he do keep forcing that hes much better than ruiz in any angle. People wont buy such claim until the rematch is settled.
His reputation and glory is on stake on this rematch. If he wont focus out then he would get that 2nd time KO and i can say that theres no more excuses we can hear from him.

I agree with you, and not only that... if he lose again he will be a joke for rest of his life and boxing carrier.
Anyway I will enjoy watching this fight as a neutral observer.

Can't wait to see Andy win again or imaging if it goes to decision and Andy wins, that would be over for Joshua, won't it? In any case, I think the fight would be very interesting to watch and one much anticipated by many.

His best chance is for not to allow this game goes to decision, he should again knock down AJ so it will be a convincing win for him and his hype will continue on his next championship fights. He has the power as he has already knock out AJ once, sure he can do it again if their's an opportunity.

Andy suddenly become a boxing superstar after the fight, sure he wants to be in that status for so long.

It is good to see some change from the normal trash talking world of the sport as some of them are really cringe worthy when they challenge each other to fight them now and see the real deal Cheesy. It is a sport and we need to respect the opponent and these trash talking is to entertain the crowd and we know both Andy Ruiz and Anthonu Joshua are high level fighters and this fight already have a lot of eyes and they do not need to trash talk to promote the fight and since it is a fight that Anthony Joshua cannot loose if he wants to continue his merry making ways and hence i am picking Anthony Joshua to win the fight.

Both are nice guys but wait till they meet Tyson Fury and they will learn to trash talk, Tyson always trash talk every opponent that he encounters I'm pretty sure when these two nice gentlemen meet Fury, they will forget that they are nice and gentleman, the way Fury thrash talk them, only two days to go before the big bang and I can't wait to see.

Joshua: 'Punch From Gods' Doesn’t Mean Ruiz Landed Lucky Punch

Anthony Joshua has endured considerable backlash for stating that Andy Ruiz Jr. landed “a punch from the gods” in the third round of their heavyweight title fight.
