I like that LightBit has a fairly low supply, and no pre-mine!

Hope there are plans for implementing atomic swaps!

Also, love that LightBit has a low carbon footprint by having a strong community and is planning to allow PoS.

When will PoS be put in place?

whilst it’s a good idea and concept around low carbon mining. You really need to have your wallets working bud, I tried both V1 and V2 and I had similar problems with connecting to peers even adding the nodes manually in V2 from explorer.

To be honest I couldn’t care less for the comments around copying, ultimately all github code is open source and is there to be improved upon, it’s just a little shame that after 3 months you’d expect to see a better framework in place like working wallets, which you will get crucified for.

I really like the idea of no premine etc but the allocation and halving doesn’t make any long term sense ? So by my calculations you are 75% towards the only halving period already ? After three months !!

Wish you guys the best of luck for the future, but I’ll be honest, with Monero hard forking to a CPU friendly randomx at the end of this month and with other projects established with corporate partnerships looking to deliver an actual working use case this year I’m afraid to say unless you have a solid working utility, only a handful of coins will survive in 2020

ok I fixed the wallet issue, for people who are still having connection problems from V1 and are still seeing them in V2 like I was, go to

%appdata% - in the light bit folder copy the wallet.dat to your desktop and remove the whole lightbit folder in the appdata directory

Then download V2 again and replace the new wallet.dat with the previous one you saved. And restart the QT2

Should then start getting connections

PoS is planned but I think we should at least wait for the block halving, which will be a few months. Thanks a lot for your support ltl.
