What your family thinks about that you into crypto

Hello everyone, good morning, yesterday I had a conversation with my family about crypto(BTC if we being specific).

Im HODL for a long time now, and really believe that in the end crypto actually do fly to do moon( More about Moon:)

my family thinks its a bullshit, and think that im wasting my time and money. I try to explain it countless of times and it seems that is simply imposable for to them to understand

So, im just curious what your family/friends think about it?

The family treats cryptocurrencies well, because I make money using cryptocurrencies.Friends and acquaintances think that I am some kind of fraudster and crypto-currencies are used exclusively by hackers.I have repeatedly tried to prove something and tell,but stereotypes are very difficult to break.Alas.

For me, my family have no idea that I'm into cryptocurrencies and they have no idea what cryptocurrency is and to even think of knowing the entire crypto ecosystem.  But if they did know about cryptocurrency and the entire crypto space, they will not no problem with me investing into cryptocurrencies. Its all about how you explain and present what crypto is and the ideology behind the entire ecosystem

There is definitely a lot of confusion and resistance in my family. They all think it's a waste of time and money... little do they know

I'm lucky to have a family that isn't mocking me with what I do and what I believe. They have been supportive and don't ask me about what bitcoin is as long as they see no harm on what I do, they are there.

But with the other people that surrounds me, friends and other relatives. They are mostly the ones that are bullsh*tting with what I'm telling them about bitcoin, they mock, make fun of me and that's why I don't care anymore if they ask me about bitcoin or wants to start a conversation about its recent rise.

Why you want to convince your parents what you do when it comes to investment, you can do anything you want with your money and until and unless you feed off them they do not bullshit all your investment choices. I do not complaint them about their opinion and they could not understand bitcoin and hence they have their opinion. No one interferes on what i do with my money and hence i do not need to convince anyone  .

Unfortunately is very sad to say before have same story like yours, later on I convince my family I am not wasting time investing in bitcoin or crypto, I show them my earning and porfolio last all time high way back year 2017 and one sister and my brother I convince to earn and invest in crypto.

I’m not telling them about my crypto activities because they will borrow money from me, it is still good for me to keep it secret, to work hard on a secret place and later on will show them the result of all my sacrifices. Only my future wife knows about this thing, and I’m happy that she is very supportive.

Why do you think it is impossible for them to understand?

you explain to someone that you saw an alien... If that person do not see an alien either, then they do not believe you. You're doing it wrong, show them bitcoin and then take a small part to the real world and buy them something with the money you have taken. When they see money they will understand and they will believe you. People believe in things they can see and touch.

So, im just curious what your family/friends think about it?

well, it's unbelievable that people in my country already know bitcoin, so I don't have the same problem that you have

We are different if your family didn't believe in crypto.we our family really believe in crypto.there so many ways that crypto help us.we got some profit from trading crypto and we can say that we earned from this crypto.our family all of us believe in crypto.I think give them some good thing happen to you using crypto to your family to recognize them what is crypto how you use it and how you will earn from this.teach them and give some proof that crypto can help us in our lives.goodluck

Some of my friends get houses from bitcoins market. Some of my friends are afraid of being involved. It depends on how open the person is.

well, it's unbelievable that people in my country already know bitcoin, so I don't have the same problem that you have

People who are in the financial side of things, people who invest in stock market have certainly heard about bitcoin because it is the most profitable investment in the past few years, yes it does have its risks but then if the OP is struggling to make someone understand the new market trends it is better for them to read financial news often to have a sense of life outside of their box. People who ignore the global market and people who does not have any financial investment in stock market or mutual funds might not understand what is happening globally and we cannot change those people.

I already tell my family that I am making money from cryptocurrency, and now they can accept it and let me continue my way. Before this, they don't believe that I can earn money from cryptocurrency because they think that is not real. They still follow the old people who working in the office is the best work you can get. But since 2010, I tried to work from the internet, and I always search the opportunity from making money from the internet and so far, I can get the money although not much. But in the cryptocurrency, I show to my parents that I can make a lot of money and make them believe that what I did on the internet, specifically in the cryptocurrency can give me the money with doing many things.

My mom is actually proud of me. She doesn't really get the idea of Bitcoin but she believes me that it's the future and she's just glad that I'm "trendy" .
As for my partner, it was tough at the beginning because my SO thought it was a form of gambling. (Well, it kinda is, but let's not talk about it). Now, it's better, since we were able to go on holidays abroad thanks to BTC

My mother thought  I was a fraudster for been always online when she saw I didn't suddenly become rich, she started telling me to get a good job and close down my office. I sometimes don't know what to tell her or she could believe that Crypto is as real as the real economic sector.

Bitcoin is an investment place which is different with another investment place IMO. If you talk an investment in another place such as real estate, stock and etc then I can sure you won't say their place will go to the moon. The movement price of them will move slowly but it has a slight risk compared to bitcoin who has volatile price and high risk as well.

My family know and appreciate against my decision when I intend to invest in bitcoin because I said to them bitcoin is digital asset such as gold but I never told to them about bitcoin deeply because it will make them confused. They will know every investment have each level of risk which should be accepted by all investors including me at this point. So, to make them believe in me I'll not say the profit that I get when investing in bitcoin, but I'll show to them the money that I get when bitcoin price goes to the moon later.

At first my family thinks that Cryptocurrency is just a waste of time.  I tried to explain it to them but they did not understand so instead of pushing the idea to them, I just show it in action.   Little by little they understand that crypto is some kind of currency that depends on the market demand.  Though they know that it is a new kind of technology and can be used to buy stuff and remit money to other places.

lol, same as me, my mother think that crypto is just non-sense virtual money and can not be cashed out. She blamed me a lot for investing in crypto, especially I decided to quit my job and contribute 100% of my time to crypto

AFAIK Every family has that tech savvy member, so getting to know about bitcoin and sharing it to them was not a difficult issue because they seem to be interested about this technology and there is plenty of information and stuff to learn.

But there are some friends and family who think is all a ponzi and always throw negative sentiments towards crypto, so I have chosen to not bring this topic when am with them.

In my case, I explained it to them when I'm holding some cash because it will be easy for them to understand especially when they are seeing the result with their eyes. then I will explain it one by one on how did I got that money with me.

Trust me with this kind of strategy they are all open-minded to listen and understand because they will get curious about how I get that money.
and don't forget to warn them its consequences so you won't get any words from them if they failed to earn some profits from investing.
