I kept my cryptocurrency investment away from my parent because they don't know anything about crypto and  I know it will be very hard for me to explain to them for now.

My family kept warning me and asking me stop wasting my time on the internet and find a "more reasonable job". They even had fears that I would end up being a scammer. I tried to make them understand but BTC is nothing like that big tree behind our house which everyone can see, touch and feel. So I told them that I have stopped meanwhile I a still here trying to earn some good money through BTC.

Nice topic , my experience if I discuss with my close friend or my Family (if they are not working at institution Bank or Finance) they so enthusiasm
since bitcoin is revolutionary system decentralize. but if I discuss with someone have background working at bank they said bitcoin is bubble or scam.

I thought bitcoin is like sunlight for vampire banking.

They still don't understand blockchain and importance of limited supply. But they see my enthusiasm about Bitcoin and they trust me so two members of my family already own Bitcoin and ETH. Another good consequence of me exposing the deficiencies of fiat, is that one friends started to invest in gold (beside Bitcoin). I think gold is closer to Bitcoin than fiat is to Bitcoin.

My family very well welcomed the first time I conveyed information about crypto. In fact they fully support and say that crypto activity will be an asset of the future.

My parents and my two in-laws are the ones who don't like the focus on crypto, it's very difficult to explain to them that crypto is the future even though I've already made a few thousand dollars from crypto. 

My family looks don't want to know about crypto even they were not too care about it because they says cryptocurrencies looks too difficult to understand but luckily they didn't forbid me to joining in crypto world because they says as long it profitable then they will support me

fortunately, I have a wife who is very supportive of my decision to focus on crypto and say "as long as it is profitable and not against the law, then I will definitely support you".. love her so much

I'm lucky because my family always supports my interests and investments, all of them. But do you guys really care about others opinion about your money and your way of investing it? Come on, it's not worth your time.

Most of my family were initially skeptical about the whole cryptocurrency because they don't understand how one can make money out of thin air, but they are okay as long as it wasn't illegal and i asured them it's perfectly legal and it's just like buying gold tokens and collctibles and waiting for it to rise in profits.

Actually my family not give any bad reaction about crypto but one two friends already leave the crypto life because lossing money for the investment.
Introducing my brother was a good think about crypto then my small success which here own knowledge and skills.

Losing money to investment can really be so painful to anyone that it has affected, the level of pain depends on how much was committed, and the financial status of the said investor at that time, but I would still put some blames on your friends because they did not understand the crytpomarket very well before they started investing.

I am sure by now, anyone that wants to invest in any crypto will ensure they do their proper research and then also out their money in safe coins like bitcoin, Ethereum, and these top coins, imagine they had invested in some of these coins, do you think they will still not have their money intact by now even if there is a drop in value, but they probably listen to all those new projects that offers them what is too good to be true.

Personally, my family doesn't get the need of it because "oUr LoCaL mOnEy iS FiNe";

Man, that's the whole reason why bitcoin hasn't been adopted more widely than it has--people are generally fine with using their debit cards, cash, or phone to pay for things, plus the places where you buy everything generally don't accept bitcoin anyway.  It's a legitimate point. 

My family knows about my interest in bitcoin, but they have no interest in it themselves--probably for the above reason, i.e., they see no reason to go out of their way to buy a form of money that's hard to spend.  They think of it as my little eccentric hobby I guess, and that's totally fine with me.  Hell, I tend to think of crypto more as an investment than a currency anyway. 

On a related note, the few friends I have also feel the same way.  I think I've met about three human beings in the real world who've actually owned any bitcoin.  A lot of them have heard about it, but in my experience most people have never played around with it themselves.

Although am not the type that know how to explain technology to people because am not a teacher, so, my family wouldn't ask such question in respect to cryptocurrency and even though they did I will still explain to them for them to take part on the early adopters. At first they will be shock because of how the technology work but will not accuse me of anything bad like other families doese when they are unexpected money on their  children's.

My family has been supportive about it. They do encourage me to invest more on altcoin. Cryptocurrency has been a safe heaven for me, and am paying my family bills with it

hard to explain to someone who never knew about crypto, even my family was very opposed to me for reasons of fear of losing when investing, but after 2017 where a good year for bitcoin holders when prices were very high, I took a lot of profits that's where I provided evidence to my family until finally they changed their initial thoughts and believed in me.

My family (wife) considered it nonsense when I told her about BTC in 2017. I explained to her how the system works to benefit. But he told me, it's better to invest with gold than BTC, because of the level of money security. At present, he has begun to believe in BTC.

They really don't belief the whole system and anytime I try to explain to them they are like hey there is no free lunch anywhere.. I just smile and keep my mouth shut and hope the digital world turn my life around for them to see.

They like the idea because they understand it's the money of the future, but when i talk with them about the coin, they don't understand it at all. I try to explain it, but always when we get to the 'The backup of bitcoin is nothing' they lose all interest and start calling it a scam.
