The Bisq DAO is the first real software company. A global company run purely by software.

It is based on freedom, transparency, meritocracy and openness:
- Work whenever you want
- Work from where you want
- Work on what you want
- No bosses
- No hire, no fire. You come and go when you want.
- Ask for compensation whatever you find is fair for your work
- BSQ stakeholders vote on your request
- BSQ stakeholders are the decentralized CEO body
- Earning BSQ by work earns you merit and higher influence on the DAO.

Bisq contains several fields of cutting edge technology:
- P2P network
- Tor integration
- Trade protocol
- Consensus protocol (DAO)
- Bitcoin integration
- Cryptographic sub-systems (like the protection tool currently being developed)

The DAO pays above market rates. Good senior devs can earn about 15000 BSQ (15000 USD) for fulltime work. That is quite a lot. BSQ market is mature enough that contributors can sell their BSQ for BTC.

Hi, I have different questions that I wanted to address in here.

First question would be what certain language you require someone to be a part of your time. My only experience is through front end web development which leads me to my second question.

Well you accept entry level and does only know the basics of the programming language that you required? Because I am currently interested with this.

Thanks!

I don't get the whole payment request thing. Is there a better video explaining the details of how this happens? I see that Bisq also has requirement for non dev works, how is something like that going to get approved and paid for? Please let me know.

I can talk about my experience, have done some French translation for Bisq. The French translation was a task to be done required by translators team, so i completed translation on Transiflex software, then I informed others than the work was done and most of the time, translators works in team of two ppl, the others assist in reviewing the others guys works.
Once that is done, you create a compensation request on github asking for a certain amount of BSQ token ( you have to evaluate the price yourself or with information from previous works), once the compensation request is created, I submit it in the  Bisq software in DAO area. Then ppl check my request, control my work thanks to screenshot, and vote if they agree or NOT to validate the compensation request. If it's positive, I receive BSQ token in my wallet, then I sell them on the market for BTC and cash out.

Some tasks are already required on Github (for example for Devs), but If you are a Marketing guy, you can come on Slack, chanel  #marketing, then ask if there is a need for a specific video on a certain topic, then if there is a need, others users will tell you to go for it, giving a kind of a green light for you to start your work, and that way you are sure that you are going to get a compensation for it.

For devs, the works will require some skills in: Java 10/12, JavaFx, advanced Bitcoin, security, p2p / Tor / anonymity, cryptography, "decentralized UX"
