charts like this are not meant to focus on individual coins, it is meant to show the long term movement of all the coins and for that, it is obvious that even though in short term altcoins may perform well or in some cases better than bitcoin, all of them in the long run are going down and lose value without an exception.
for example during 2017 and the pumps, there were many coins that went up a lot more than bitcoin did but they have all lost all that rise, and not just that they also lost more than just that rise. they went below their starting price.

What an excellent chart. 

It is the perfect chart to illustrate that Alt coins has a shelf live and that the majority of them start with a hyped up launch and then a frenzy period where people are buying coins in the hope of making a huge profit and once they realize that the Alt coin is going nowhere, they start dumping it and it ends up going down and eventually dies. 

It also shows that Bitcoin is totally different from Alt coins and that it does not follow this hype cycle. The reason is simple, Bitcoin is actually used in the real world and it was not just developed to make a quick profit.

Can anyone imagine how Neo's investors, those people who bought when Neo's price was $160 are feeling today? I had bought Neo when the price was $122 and I sell when the price went up to $134. I made a good choice when I sold.

It is completely clear that bitcoin has been much profitable that altcoins. And why do you think the data is not healthy? Coinmarketcap shows similar charts too.

Too many data entries are shown in the same graph. We see a lot of colors, but there is no data to compare and compare. For example, I follow the light yellow line. It looks pretty good. If I had known which coin it was, I would like to compare the date, the total quantity, etc. It could be compared.

Of course, Bitcoin is still the most important cryptocurrency. However, it would not be enough to see the price to read the data correctly.

I don’t know how on earth you understand the chart that you posted here, I am not a chart lover and I don’t think I even need any chart to confirm what you said. Everyone knows that bitcoin has always outperform most of the coins that we have in the market because it is still a coin that is the most popular being the first, the most reliable and may also be the last of its kind in future when it is being accepted as the main global currency.

The future of bitcoin is still very bright and I know that the gap between it and Ethereum will still be like x5 of what it is now in future, so any investor that would like to invest in this king of coin should better do that now before it becomes really too late, although anytime is still good to invest, just that it is best to get the coin at  cheaper rate.

Top market players usually depend on some changing variables like the fundamental and technical analysis but the point is the crypto market is not relevant as the spot currency markets. BTC is deserving of the being a king cryptocurrency, but chart data is not valuable it is something so prophesy you can not know with it what will happen next, you can only speculate. It doesn't need to explain who is boss, it is as simple as checking the coinmarketcap application. The numbers never lie, the market never sleeps especially in the crypto industry.

I guess most of the altcoin promoters have dumped their holdings and exited the cryptocurrency market. If you check the altcoins outside the top-10 list in coinmarketcap, you can see that the development activity has almost stopped completely. I think this chart is a bit deceptive without context. It appears to be an index, which means that all coins (including Bitcoin) will by definition converge to a value of 1.00 at the extreme right of the chart. The price of each coin on the 13th of August 2019 (or thereabouts) is normalized to a reference of 1.00, and the prices of preceding days are shown relative to that reference.

Since the reference point is the middle horizontal line, one side of the chart (presumably the more sparsely populated bottom area?) will show coins that have actually made a substantial improvement to August 2019. This means that those which were hovering below 0.10 had increased in value by more than 10 times at the time the chart was generated.

At first glance I thought it was a whack.
Then suddenly, while looking deeper I saw it.
Yes it had a great look. Bitcoin though cannot be just dumped in a bit of time. It just show how much trust it is getting from the people. Altcoin had been sold for bitcoin, that is what likely happened from the recent pump.
Though they say it has not much usage but its popularity is still rising. Being the first have its good effects.

The dotted line is the Bitcoin price, but I'm fairly sure it's listed solely to reference time (ie showing a particular change in BTC value causes some trend for the rest of the chart members). It doesn't mean, as the OP has implied, that other coins were faltering around the middle whilst Bitcoin went up and away past everyone else. If Bitcoin is part of the index, it would have ended up in the middle (at 1.00) just like the other coins. The dotted line is a complementary overlay, not a part of the 200 coin index. The chart is interesting, but IMHO misleading.

from this chart, I conclude, do not ever invest in altcoin for the long term because altcoin the longer it is held, the more its value will be lost, in contrast to the bitcoin that keeps its balance.

Naturally, altcoins are just alternative to bitcoin, and since they are alternatives, they are meant to really be used temporarily, they cannot really serve as store of value, so there is no point to just continue to hold them, with altcoins, juts buy, and sell anytime you see profit because they are the most unreliable coins I have ever seen.

The gap between bitcoin and those 200 coins you mentioned is not even near for them to really have a system better than bitcoin, all those promises of doing something better tan bitcoin is just a way for them to attract users and investors to their market, but it is not about attraction, it is about sustenance, that is why many of them are not able to sustain their user because they go there and find out that those coin are not really given according to what was initially promised to them.

Bitcoin still remain the only coin that has fulfilled everything that as promised to us, it is now left for us to embrace it and use it to the fullest, bitcoin remains the only coin that even government would like to have a thing to do with at any time.

I can't think any possible way but okay, let's just say that Bitcoin would collapse one day due to the dying supports of crypto enthusiast. As the forefather of all coins, it's expected as such foenit to be the king of crypto. As one of the coins whom was managed since the start of crypto, it naturally shows a larger margin of improvement compared to other coins. Despite the amount of coins trying to compete with bitcoin, nothing comes close to beating it out of its throne

This year is good for bitcoin as it recovers almost 50% of the bitcoin ATH price. Also, the bitcoin market dominance grew from ~ 30% to 70% all in this year of 2019. There's no doubt this year is going to be recorded as one of the best years for bitcoin regardless of the harsh market conditions.

It's not surprising, bitcoin has been labeled as king of crypto for nothing. There's lot of analysis that shows how dominant bitcoin is. Even though the market volatility is expecting to have high trends, bitcoin stayed unaffacted by the sell off of assets, it even crushed the record of assets including yen, WTI crude oil, and gold. Considering bitcoins 2017 bull run that hit up to $20,000, many investors chose and have been convinced to have bitcoin as their assets. But there's no guarantee that bitcoin will stay on top and won't be overthrown by other cryptocurrencies.

If that was the case, then the third generation cryptocurrencies such as Cardano or NEO would have toppled Bitcoin from the top position by now. On the contrary, Cardano is one of the worst performing cryptocurrencies currently, with a net loss of 98% from the all time high levels reached during the end of 2017.

Ethereum is currently the second most popular cryptocurrency, and the reasons for that is clear. Ethereum is relatively easy to use (when compared to alts such as Monero and Cardano), and there is a large community which offers help to anyone who needs it. It is not  surprising actually, bitcoin is the very first crypto to be known widely. From the day it was launch until today it establish a huge amount of supporters. Most of the potential altcoins that you mentioned are all still living under the hype of bitcoin and I think that only bitcoin still remain the only coin that represent the true cryptocurrency and that has been proven also through the actions of bitcoin this year as it came out from the bear market single handedly while other altcoins are still struggling to come out of the same bear market.

In fact, we don't need to look at the chart of coins compared to bitcoin, we just need to look at bitcoin dominance.  It is currently trading at 67% - 68% and it is certainly dominating the market.  The Halving event is coming, I guess it will soon grow to about 73% - 75%, it will soon be a cryptocurrency monument.

Though, there are still allot of people seeing bitcoin as not the best possible currency for all, I do still believe that with bitcoin, all these things are possible and merely the reason why bitcoin remains at the top is because of its market capitalization which is high due to the fact that people could see it as an investment rather than a currency. In simple terms bitcoin grew from the scratch, particularly it isn't the first cryptocurrency but this is the one to stand strong in the market for more than ten years. This is where it proves again and again as the king of cryptocurrencies. Maybe in the future there can be higher growth with other altcoins, but how long it serves the market need to be noted.

The graph shows the power of trust in Bitcoin. I'm not surprised that for 10 years altcoins could not even be compared with Bitcoin. Ethereum is the only competitor, but it has a completely different calling, unlike Bitcoin

There is a major difference between Bitcoin and the other cryptos. Bitcoin is a truly decentralized cryptocurrency, and there was no premine. Since there was no premine, we can say that the promoter never got any monetary benefit out of his invention. On the other hand, most of the altcoins do have huge premine ratios. For example, a massive 60% of the total supply of Ethereum was kept aside as premine.
